The works includes supply, installation of all the required armored cables with necessary accessories and equipment,
testing & commissioning on all other ancillary work required to complete the replacement and connection of the units
to the ZESA mainline at Reoville Project. Thus, also including the provision of required manpower, machinery and skilled
electrician’s for Meter box Connections, trenching and cable laying and proper communications with Malbereign ZESA
for the installations in the shortest possible amount of time.

GENERAL RESPONSEBILITIES

Transportation of materials, testing and commissioning of all the equipment shall be officially GOLMACS
responsibility. The Services shall also include some duties normally performed by Malbereign ZESA field staff, which
includes the connection of cables to main electricity points. These shall include, yet not be limited to, liaising and
maintaining strong working relations with all Malbereign ZESA stuff to obtain all required letters, approvals,
documentation…etc.

Prior to taking over of the Works or any section of the Works or to putting any portion of the Works into service,
Golmac shall carry out Tests upon Completion in accordance with the provisions of the contract. The tests shall be
carried out in the presence of the Engineer and to his satisfaction.
