My name is Ca Tung Ng. I’m excited to apply for the Data Analyst role at Arc. My
background in turning data into insights, as well as my acute eye for detail, make me
an ideal candidate for the job. I'm excited to join Arc as a valued member.

I am currently a Research Assistant in ACT Genomics, with a Masters in Cancer

Science and Precision Oncology with two-year experience in data analysis and
medical writing. I also have project management and client management experience,
which I put to good use in building critical customer relationships to meet precision
medicine's business objectives.

In my present position as Research Assistant, I oversee cleaning and analysing

RNA-seq data for a variety of studies using R, Python, and statistical software
programs such as SPSS and GraphPad prism. I have designed statistical analysis
models that reduced analysis turnaround times by 140%. I have also conducted data
modelling to identify potential biological biomarkers using regression/classification
analysis using machine learning. Furthermore, I've also used PySpark to perform
data mining on an open-source dataset to help validate critical discoveries.

Additionally, I’ve also worked with clients to facilitate communication, project

scheduling, and clinical negotiations. I am also adept at performing ad-hoc SQL
queries to identify business and industry trends eliminate internal waste and identify
potential business ventures, as well as show data to stakeholders using Tableau.

I’m looking forward to bringing my business management and data analysis skills to
Arc. My expertise in SQL, Excel, Python and R, combined with experience in data
visualization and presenting to stakeholders, would make me a great addition to your
