About the Job:

MWAN Mobile currently has exciting opportunities for a Senior Data Scientists. As a Data
Scientist at MWAN, you will play a crucial role in retrieving, processing, and validating data
from various online platforms to support our projects. Your responsibilities will include querying
and searching for data, processing it to meet project requirements, and ensuring its accuracy and
relevance through meticulous validation. You will leverage your analytical skills to generate
charts and maps that visually represent the data, aiding in easier validation and analysis.

Responsibilities:
 Retrieve data from diverse online platforms using querying techniques, not web scraping.
 Process and enrich raw data to add necessary details and ensure alignment with project
specifications.
 Validate data against custom datasets to verify accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
 Utilize Excel, PostgreSQL, and APIs to manage and manipulate data effectively.
 Create visual representations of data such as charts and maps to facilitate validation and
analysis.
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver
actionable insights.
Skills and Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
 3-5 years of proven experience in data engineering and analysis roles.
 Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
 Strong SQL skills with experience in PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
 Experience working with APIs for data extraction and integration.
 Solid understanding of Python programming for data manipulation (preferred).
 Detail-oriented with a keen eye for ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
 Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
 Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
