4.1 After inhalation : Upon inhalation of aerosol/vapor/dust, take the patient into the
fresh air. If there is difficulty in breathing medical advice is
required.
4.2 After contact with skin : Immediately remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash the
affected area with plenty of soap and water until no evidence of
the chemical remains (at least 15-20 minutes). Wash contaminated
clothing before reuse. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice
/ attention.
4.3 After contact with eyes : Contamination of the eyes must be treated by thorough irrigation
with water, with the eyelids held open. Eventually a doctor (or eye
specialist) should be consulted.
4.4 After ingestion : If the product is swallowed, the patient must at once drink water
repeatedly, if the patient feels unwell, seek medical advice.

Section 5: Fire and Fighting Measures
5.2 Extinguishing Media : Carbon dioxide, Dry Chemical, Foam and water Spray.
5.3 Fire Fighting Equipment : Use Self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear full and thick
protective clothing.
6.1 Personal precautions : Avoid breathing dust, avoid direct contact with skin and eyes.
6.2 Environmental precautions : Do not let product enter drains or spoil surface and underground
waters. Avoid dust formation.
7.1 Handling : Handle with care and avoid employee exposure with appropriate
control measures and good industrial hygiene practices. Wash
hands and face thoroughly after handling and before eating or
drinking.
7.2 Storage : Keep containers tightly closed in dry, cool and well ventilated place
away from direct sources of heat. Empty containers may contain
product residues and should be handled appropriately. Position
None
containers in a way that all labelling information is visible.
8.1 General protective measures : Take off immediately all contaminated clothing.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
Avoid inhaling aerosols and vapors.
8.2 Hygiene measures : Keep away from food and drink stuffs.
Do not eat, drink or smoke at work.
Wash hands before breaks and at end of work and use skin-
protecting ointment.
8.5 Skin and body protection : Use good laboratory/workplace procedures including personal
protective clothing: lab coat, safety glasses and protective gloves.

Section 9: Physical and chemical properties
Section 10: Stability and Reactivity : No particular hazardous reaction if stored in normal condition of
temperature, moisture and light.
11.5 Additional information : The product has not been tested. The statement on toxicology is
based on the product in the market with the same chemistry.
Section 12: Ecological Information : Do not empty the product into drains and waters without primary
treatment and do not store on public depositories.
13.2 Packaging : Clean packing can be reused, spoiled packaging must be disposed
like product.
13.3 Waste Management : Contact the state or local environmental agency for specific rules.
This product is not identified as a RCRA hazardous waste (40 CFR
261.24) and is not regulated under CERCLA.

Section 14: Transport Information
14.1 This Product is not classified as dangerous under the relevant EU directive and Department of
Transportation (DOT) regulations. Thus, it is not hazardous under transport regulations.
15.2 National regulation and specific classification according to Directive 76/769/EC: None
16.1 Training advice : Basic training in safe handling of pigments. Awareness of Safety
properties of fine paste.
16.2 Use restriction : Not recommended for the direct coloration of food. Vipul Organics
Limited Pigments / Pigment preparations are technical grade
products. Unless otherwise stated or agreed are recommended only
for industrial use in application involving coloration of Coatings,
Textile printing, Ink, Detergents and such other industrial uses. Other
intended uses including their use in customer products governed by
specific legislation, as standards should be referred to the
manufacturer. The data contained in the MSDS apply only to Vipul
Organics Limited products sold under the stated trade names. If any
other technical details required, refer to our Product Technical Data
Sheet or contact Technical Department.
