MOBILIZING THE CHURCH FOR CONQUEST - Week 1: THE GREAT COMPASSION THAT SAVE

SCRIPTURE: Matthew 9:35 "Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their
synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the
people. 36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were
weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd."

OBJECTIVES:
1. To have full enlightenment on the power of compassion that can move us into the frontline of battle for
souls.

INTRODUCTION:
➢ If you happen to go to a war-torn country like Syria, or let us not go very far, we have a place in the
south, Marawi City. Marawi had experienced a fierce battle on May 2017 when a group of ISISM
aute inspired group seized the City which lasted for almost six months. We have seen in the news
the unimaginable devastation of infrastructures within that short time period. Imagine the people who
were killed and wounded, families displaced, businesses and livelihood destroyed leaving the people
hungry and scattered. What would happen if the people were not rescued and cared for?
➢ Spiritually, the enemy wreak havoc among the people in Jesus' ministering days. People are
diseased, displaced, hungry, "weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd." These are the
consequences of the war that sin and its curses have brought mankind through the rebellion of
Lucifer and Adam against God. We see so much sufferings everywhere. Many of us can relate to
the difficulties of life even today even with the modernization and urbanization of our cities.

SUPERFICIAL, PHYSICAL SUFFERINGS.

➢ Whenever you witness sufferings resulting from hunger, poverty, disease, broken homes,
relationship failures, homeless and devastations of calamities, we feel the pain. How much more if
we actually suffer and become part of the victims of these maladies? It is very hard! Even today,
many among us are in these conditions. Many are working very hard just to make ends meet each
day.
➢ These sufferings and pains are just superficial, physical and artificial. There are ways where we can
resolve these temporal pains and difficulties. We can go beyond these conditions and live a better
life if we will study hard, work hard and sacrifice to give our families a better life, a better future.
➢ However, there is a suffering that is real and terrifying, and once a person gets there, no more
remedies can be done to get him out of that place and condition. It would last for eternity in darkness
and flames. This kind of suffering awaits every person who leaves this earthly life without
experiencing the redeeming works of Jesus Christ.
➢ This is the deepest and most cruel kind of suffering and pain that Jesus Christ feels even now.
People die daily by the thousands without hearing about the redeeming works of Jesus Christ which
could have prevented them from going to that place of eternal torment and pain. Eternal lostness
and separation from a loving God. This kind of suffering and pain that the Lord wants you and me to
feel for every person you meet in the streets everyday. For every neighbor, friends and loved ones
living around you, within your reach. Do you feel compassion for them?

HAVING THE COMPASSION OF JESUS CHRIST

➢ When we speak about compassion, we feel a sympathetic pity and concern for the sufferings or
misfortunes of others. But it should not end with just a sympathetic feeling, we should be constrained
to do something to help them out of their sufferings and pain in any way we could.
➢ Compassion literally means “to suffer together.” Compassion involves allowing ourselves to be
moved by suffering and experiencing the motivation to help alleviate and prevent it.

➢ Jesus Christ sees and feels beyond the physical sufferings of man, He sees and feels the ultimate
spiritual, eternal condition of people who were unfortunate enough to miss out His redemption
sacrifice which was finished a long time ago. Because those people He entrusted to go and reach
them out did less or nothing! Jesus Christ feels the pain, do you?
DEVELOPING AND ACTING ON COMPASSION.
1. DWELL DAILY IN THE COMPASSION OF THE LORD
➢ Matthew 9:36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because
they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd."
➢ Daily, practice the compassion of the Lord. See beyond physical appearances of people around you,
look at their spiritual condition. You have been there before and you know what it meant to be lost
and under the yoke of sin. Look back from where you came from, darkness and condemnation.
➢ See every lost person as victims of that spiritual battle. They need to be rescued from impending
condemnation. Remember, the Word of God is very clear, the whole world stands condemned
already, but God sending His Son and through His atoning sacrifice, He provided the Way out.
➢ (John 3:17 “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world
through Him might be saved. 18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not
believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of
God."). The world has been judged as condemned already, but Jesus Christ provided the Way out!

2. FEEL THE ETERNAL PAIN AND SUFFERINGS.

➢ Matthew 9:36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because
they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd."
➢ Having compassion means "suffering together" with the victims. We can fully relate to the present
condition of the people lost in sin because we have been there before Jesus Christ saved us.
➢ I want you to think, what if Christ had not saved us? What if we die without having the redemption of
Jesus Christ? What would eternity be for you? We are very thankful because Jesus found and saved
us. You would not have to suffer anymore the torture of eternal flame of the lake of fire. But look
around you and see where the people are headed to without the salvation of Jesus Christ. Feel the
pain and sufferings of eternal condemnation. Feel what Jesus feels for every person made in His
image and likeness.

3. TAKE EVERY OPPORTUNITY FOR THE GOSPEL.

➢ People who are lost can still be found, but those condemned cannot be retrieved. People who are
still alive in their physical bodies and can make a decision have all the opportunity to get back to God
and be saved, but dead people without experiencing the redeeming works of Jesus Christ are
condemned for eternity. A person who is dead in Christ but alive in the physical body can be saved,
but a person who is bodily dead without Christ is condemned for eternity.
➢ What do we do if the solution is within our reach? As a matter of fact, that is the very reason we
come to church Sunday after Sunday! Just watching people suffer is cruel and senseless.
➢ What pains the Lord above everything else are people claiming to be Born-again, Spirit-filled,
Kingdom Citizens and Heavenly bound, who can just stand and watch people going to hell without
doing anything. Why? Because He has done every possible way to provide redemption for
everyone, His blood is more than enough, He suffered to pay for every man's ill, and still, many are
not benefiting. Because many of His own Chosen Generation, Royal Priesthood, Holy Nation and
People of God are not participating enough in order that many would come to know His Plan for
mankind.

CONCLUSION:
➢ After hearing this message, I pray God would stir up compassion in our hearts. I pray we would all
feel what Jesus feels and see what Jesus sees for every person we meet everyday.

MOBILIZING THE CHURCH FOR CONQUEST - Week 2: HAVING COMPASSION IS NOT ENOUGH

SCRIPTURE: 2Peter 3:8 "But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a
thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some
count slackness, but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to
repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away
with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will
be burned up.

OBJECTIVES:
1. Understanding the compassion of Jesus Christ, we should allow that same compassion to motivate us do
our part in connecting to people who needs to be rescued from the hands of the enemy.
2. To enlist ourselves to become Armies of God in the frontline battle for the lost souls.

INTRODUCTION:
➢ Last week, we discussed about the Great Compassion that Our Lord Jesus Christ had towards
mankind. This compassion led Him up to the cross of Calvary to sacrifice His own blood for the
redemption of mankind. That same compassion continues to burden His heart even now as we
speak, and for as long as there are people out there that need His saving grace.
➢ His long-suffering towards us is endless, waiting for people to come to the knowledge of His
redemption works. Not wanting that any one should perish, but waiting for people to come to a life of
repentance and live a life that would qualify them for the best life in eternity.

ACTING ON OUR KNOWLEDGE.

➢ Knowledge is power as long as its beholder finds its usefulness and acts on it. As disciples, we do
not have mere knowledge in the will of God, we have an internalized knowledge called faith. We
believe God's Word at its face value. We believe it is true and powerful and needs to be done.
➢ As we are getting more and more enlightened in that same compassion demonstrated by Jesus
Christ, we should begin to have a deeper understanding that the Lord's intention is to pass that same
compassion to His own people in order to engage themselves in the rescue mission. If compassion
means "suffering together with" the people whom we pity, that same compassion motivates us into
the best action how we can help alleviate the desperate condition of man. If the need is immediate
rescue from spiritual loss or danger, then we should come to an action plan to rescue people from
imminent danger. (Example: a dying person who missed to hear the Gospel)
➢ God sees the imminent, desperate need of mankind for rescue, not from physical or natural calamity
or danger, but rescue from the danger of eternal condemnation that awaits every person who have
not avail yet of the salvation of Jesus Christ in their lives, thereby losing their opportunity to be
qualified to partake to an eternal security in God's presence in a place he prepared for the obedient.

CARRYING THE LORD'S BURDEN

➢ When we speak about a burden, it is something we carry for ourselves. It involves responsibility,
commitment, efforts and accountability. The Lord's burden is your burden.
➢ Our Scripture clearly demonstrates that God is eternal, His plan is eternal and the life of man is also
eternal. We don't merely exist for today in this temporal life. This life we have cannot be
extinguished. It will continue to live forever. "One day with the Lord is as a thousand years" to man!

➢ He has waited and is still waiting for man to come back to Him in true repentance and to live a life
worthy of His presence in the coming ages. Next age is the Millennial Kingdom reign of Jesus Christ,
would you be there? After that age of one thousand years, you would still be alive with a new
incorruptible body to enter the final, ultimate destiny called eternity.
➢ Live today as living in eternity! Don't just live as if life would end after physical death. Start living
eternity today, plan for eternity! Let eternity be your purpose! And most importantly, take your loved
ones, the people you care about, your friends, neighbors and everybody else you could take to
eternity! Don't allow them to be left behind in eternal doom and condemnation. Compassion! Join
the rescue operation!
COMPASSION IS NOT ENOUGH, JOIN THE RESCUE OPERATION:
1. START LIVING FOR ETERNITY TODAY
➢ 2Peter 3:8 "But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand
years, and a thousand years as one day.
➢ See yourself in a thousand years and beyond. Stop living for an earthly, temporal life. You need to
plan and prepare yourself for the Millennial Kingdom of Jesus Christ! You need to see yourself
through this present, earthly sufferings and pains with eternity as your ultimate goal.
➢ If today you are in difficulty and sufferings, persevere, pass every tests of life, live a life pleasing to
God, fulfill your purpose and look forward to being with your King in His Kingdom!
➢ If today you are in abundance, know why the Lord has blessed you with so much! Do not live just for
today, and for yourself alone, live your purpose! Live with eternity in mind!
➢ Live out compassion, see people around you and join God's Rescue Operation. You are on mission!

2. FULFILL YOUR ETERNAL PURPOSE

➢ 2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is
longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
➢ God did not and will not save you for nothing, He has a plan and purpose for you! Fulfill it if you
know it, seek to understand it if you do not know it yet. Don't live just for today fulfilling your dream,
align your dreams along with the Dream of Jesus Christ for you! Dream with Jesus Christ!
➢ Your eternal significance is found in fulfilling the Lord's calling upon your life. Know that the Lord has
a plan for you wherever or in whatever situation or condition you are in right now. Shine the light of
Jesus Christ wherever you are! Influence the people around you for God and His will. You are the
salt of the earth, give your flavor and the preservation effect of your salt!
➢ Prepare yourself and the people around you for eternity.

3. CARRY ALL YOU CAN TO ETERNITY

➢ 2Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass
away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works
that are in it will be burned up.
➢ Jesus Christ would come again we do not know when, so be ready! Don't get caught in
unpreparedness. No one would and could not tell us when, so always be ready and be busy fulfilling
your purpose. But don't just prepare yourself, take your loved ones, take your friend, your neighbors
and take as many as you can to eternity. This age is coming to its end and the enemy's deception
will increase, so don't be caught in his trap of materialism and false teachings.
➢ If your dreams and effort are of temporal in nature, those would just be burnt out and come to
nothing. But if you serve God by fulfilling your divine purpose, your works would survive the fire of
purification and be rewarded for you to enjoy in eternity.
➢ Take Jesus Christ's compassion with you daily, share the Gospel with people around you daily with
every opportunity, carry them all through eternity! Don't allow people you care about to be left out!
CONCLUSION:
➢ We should be serious in asking God to break our heart with the same burden that breaks His heart.
➢James 4:17 "So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin."

MOBILIZING THE CHURCH FOR CONQUEST - Week 3: THE LORD WON'T DO EVERYTHING.

SCRIPTURE: 2Timothy 2:1 "You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the
things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be
able to teach others also. 3 You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No
one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted
him as a soldier. 5 And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes
according to the rules.

OBJECTIVES:
1. To highlight the importance of man's participation in God's creating,
sustaining and redeeming works;
2. To emphasize the importance of preparation for conquest.

INTRODUCTION:

➢ Come to think of our God who is Omniscient (all knowing), Omnipotent (all powerful) and
Omnipresent (everywhere). But despite all these amazing attributes, He would not do everything for
you and for me. He created the basics of life - air, water, sunlight, but He will not get it for you. He
created the vast seas and the ocean, but He will not catch a fish for you. He has opened the Red
Sea for the Israelites, but He did not cross it for them. He rained manna in the desert daily, but He
did not pick up anything for them. He has sent quails, but did not catch a single one for the lame and
the blind!

THE ROLE OF CHOICES AND ACTION

➢ He has done everything for you and me, Yes, but He will not do everything for you and for me. He
has conquered Death and Hell for every person alive, but to decide whether we would believe or not,
is not in His power for Him to do. We need to act on what He has done!
➢ The Lord can do everything, but He just won't do everything for you! Why? Because if He will do
everything for you, He would violate His own Law of "Free Moral Will" given to mankind. He cannot
make a choice for any single person He created. That is one thing God cannot and will not do!
➢ God will not do the part that He has given to man. Your role is important!
➢ Our Scripture used strong action words: heard; commit; teach; endure; please; compete. These
action words do not belong to God, these are for you and me to act upon. God is done for His part.

THE DIVINE PARTNERSHIP.

➢ The grace of God is like a Special Power of Attorney authorizing us to perform certain things, without
which, we cannot perform or do anything. The grace of God gives us the authority and power to do
difficult tasks and supernatural things. It enables us to see thing which otherwise cannot be seen
and understood by our own human ability. And most importantly, it enables us to accomplish
supernatural tasks like in Making Disciples and changing people's lives. If we respond, His grace will
enable! That is Partnership! If we don't act upon His commands, we cannot avail of the supernatural
power and authority that God has already provided.
➢ We need to define God's part and our part. For God, His part are those already accomplished and
done at the cross of calvary. At the cross was the greatest exchange of all times: His death for our
life eternal; His wounds for our healing; His poverty for our riches; His sufferings for our well being.

➢ Isaiah 53:4 "Surely He has borne our griefsAnd carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our
iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. 6 All we
like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on
Him the iniquity of us all."
➢ Our part is availing of those victories by the application of faith and action. Our part is enforcing the
victories He had won for all of mankind contained in the Gospel. Our part is fulfilling the Great
Commission mandate. It would be very difficult for us had He not dealt with sin, death and satan the
final blow of victory. He has overcome! And you are to overcome with Him!
Grace and Faith work together in achieving salvation. For other things, it cannot be by grace and
faith alone, man has to obey, apply the commands and the bible principles and work hard. Grace
alone will not lift you up from your situation, you need to work it out.

GRACE DESIGNED FOR CONQUEST

1. GRACE IN TRAINING AND EQUIPPING DISCIPLES
➢ 2Timothy 2:1 "You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the
things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will
be able to teach others also.
➢ "Being strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus" means perceiving the available enabling power and
authority needed to fulfill a difficult task of training other people. The phrase "commit these to faithful
men" is nothing short of making disciples, training and equipping them to train and equip others also.
➢ This is a supernatural and difficult task, but with the available enabling grace of God, it is possible!
And know for sure that God is continuously calling courageous and obedient men and women who
would commit themselves to this task. Congratulate the person next to you for heeding God's call.
➢ Sadly, only a handful people would commit to this task, you are among them! Don't you be affected
by the indifference and complacency of other people around you. Don't you miss what God has in
store for you! Focus in raising armies for the Kingdom who would do the end time task.

2. GRACE IN PREPARING FOR KINGDOM WORKS

➢ 2Timothy 2:3 You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
➢ "Being strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus" is much needed to "endure hardship as a good
soldier of Jesus Christ". Temptation is always there to quit, give up what you are doing and give in
to the bidding of the world around you. The spirit of Deception is working hard to derail many
Disciples. They had a good start, but somewhere along the journey, materialism and the cares of life
enticed them to stop. You must endure hardship! God knows and sees your hardship!
➢ But know for sure the He is testing your hearts if you would endure hardship! And once you passed
the tests of endurance and commitment, you are in for God's great surprise!
➢ Continue to train and equip people! I know God is preparing you all for your moment of greatness!
Persevere! Endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ! Be proud of the One who called you
into His Kingdom! Be faithful to your calling!

3. GRACE IN FOCUSING TO PLEASE THE LORD.

➢ 2Timothy 2:4 No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may
please him who enlisted him as a soldier. 5 And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not
crowned unless he competes according to the rules."
➢ Life in this age is full of things that could entangle you and me to the old system of this world. Things
meant to slow us down and hinder us progress in our mission. Don't get entangled again! Be very
discerning in order not to get hooked by the things from which you have been set free.
➢ Make it a goal of your life to please God and not men. Fight a good fight of faith! Keep a good
testimony for Jesus Christ! Pleasing the Lord opens the door for God's favor to be poured into your
life. Don't let yourself be affected if people leave you. Don't be discouraged with negative
circumstances, just please the Lord! It won't do you any good if you got affected!
➢ Proverbs 16:7 "When a man's ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace
with him."

CONCLUSION:
1Timothy 6:11 "But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith,
love, patience, gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were
also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses."

MOBILIZING THE CHURCH FOR CONQUEST - Week 4: CONQUERING IN PRAYER

SCRIPTURE: 2Corinthians 10:3 "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4For
the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down
arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into
captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is
fulfilled."

OBJECTIVES:
1. Realizing that everything begins in the spiritual dimension, we need take hold of the first and most
powerful weapon of conquest available in spiritual battle, that is PRAYER.

INTRODUCTION:
➢ The Biblical truth is spirit over matters and not otherwise. This means, everything should begin to
take place first in the spiritual dimension before manifesting in the physical dimension. This is the
very essence of praying, we need to take our desires to God thru prayers before taking action. Some
people might say, "though I do not pray, I get what I desire". It may be true, but that is through your
acts of self-righteousness and not through God's grace. Proverbs 3:5-6 say, "Trust in the LORD with
all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He
shall direct your paths."
➢ In Genesis 1, the Spirit of God hovers over the waters before God spoke the Word and all things we
see and enjoy today came into being. (Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and
the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And
the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”;
and there was light.")

THIS WORLD LIES IN SPIRITUAL DARKNESS.

➢ We must come to a realization and understanding that this present world is currently being ruled by
"the prince of this world", which is referred to as satan himself. (John 14:30 "I will not say much
more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold over me,").
➢ There is a hierarchy of spiritual host of darkness running the show in this world causing crimes,
quarrels, coveting, stealing, lying, violence, deception and many more. These spiritual host of
darkness are disembodied spirits all around us, influencing, oppressing, obsessing even possessing
people's soul and body. (Ephesians 6:12 "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual
hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.").

➢ This is the reason why a child of God need to dwell in His presence by putting on the Armor of God
everyday and declaring our Faith Declarations of shield of protection and the Power of the Blood of
Jesus, praising the name of Jesus and invoking the help and protection of the Holy Angels of God.
➢ We do not need to do this daily gestures and declaration if there is no enemy who are always
seeking our destruction. But since the enemy is real, we need vigilance. (1Peter 5:8 "Be sober, be
vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may
devour.")
➢ We do not need to shine as the light of the world if this world is full of spiritual light. (Matthew 5:14
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden."). This is the sobering
reality of the spiritual condition we are living in this present time.

PULLED OUT OF DARKNESS

➢ Thanks be to God, Jesus Christ came and rescued us out of darkness and translated us into His
Kingdom of light! (1Peter 2:9 "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation,
His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness
into His marvelous light;")
➢ Now we are to shine the light that Jesus has given us. (Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before
men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.")
The reality is: people are living in this dark world, their minds are cast with veils of darkness,
deceived and needed to be liberated from the blinding works of darkness, so that the light of Jesus
Christ could shine upon their lives and escape darkness to believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

THE NEED TO CONQUER FIRST IN OUR PRAYERS

1. TO PULL DOWN STRONG HOLDS
➢ 2Corinthians 10:3 "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
4For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,
➢ The demon spirits of principalities and powers build strongholds in the minds and bodies of
people. They are given access by the host or the very person who have been deceived by erroneous
teachings, indoctrinations and bad habits from childhood up to the growing stage of the person. The
role of media in every form (TV, radio, newspaper, books, internet) is a very powerful invader of our
homes, robbing people of precious time and allowing their minds to be influenced by the spirit of
error and exposing their bodies to enslaving influence of sin. (Deceiving spirits, Doctrine of error,
addiction to substances, bad habits)
➢ In prayer, all identified strongholds must be pulled down and cast away in the name of Jesus
Christ in the area of the soul (mind, emotion, will) of the person or in the area of the physical body
(vices, addiction to unhealthy habits).

2. TO CAST DOWN EVERY FORM OF ARGUMENTS.

➢ 2Corinthians 10:3 "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the
flesh. .....5a casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the
knowledge of God,"
➢ Arguments, accusations and negative words spoken against a person bear consequences in
the person's life and circumstances to whom those were spoken against, including belief in
superstitions.
Whatever false belief a person is adhering to, takes a toll against that person's life.
➢ We need to pray for people by casting down all forms of arguments and everything contrary
against the Word of God. We need to speak the promised Word to erase all those false pretensions
and set free those who have been captivated by those spirits.
3. TO CAPTIVATE EVERY THOUGHT INTO THE OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST.
➢ 2Corinthians 10:3 "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the
flesh. .....5b bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to
punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled."
➢ We need to pray for God to open people's minds to be open for the Gospel and the Word of
God as a whole. We need to pray for God to create hunger for Him and prepare their hearts to be
ready to listen and obey God's Word. Release the promised Words in the lives of people we are
praying for.
➢ As conquerors, we need to soak ourselves in God's Word daily, meditating, internalizing,
personalizing God's promises in order for us to minister those in the people we pray for.

CONCLUSION:
➢ Today, as we heard God's Word, we need to develop the Culture of Conquering in Prayer.
This is a very important step we need to take for compassion for other people to develop in our lives
and pursue conquest.

1Co 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being
saved it is the power of God.
2Co 4:3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
MOBILIZING THE CHURCH FOR CONQUEST - Week 5: BEING PART OF JESUS' DREAM CHURCH

SCRIPTURE: Matthew 16:18 “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My
church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it."

OBJECTIVES:
To understand the qualities of the Church that Jesus established in order to redefine our mindset and action
to conform to the Church of Jesus' dream.

INTRODUCTION:
➢ How many of you have dreamt of accomplishing something great during your lifetime? A
noble profession or a high career perhaps? Establishing a great business venture? Becoming an
influential public servant? No one dreams to be an ordinary person or an employee! Being ordinary
would be your destiny if you don't dream. If you dream a simple and easy life, you don't need a
miracle to achieve that. When you dream, dream big! Dream something different and seemingly
impossible to achieve! Dream something where you would need the hands of God to accomplish it.
Dream a challenging dream!
➢ Every one is entitled to dream! It is a divine privilege! You can accomplish your dream with
God's help! Especially when your dream is aligned with the dream of God.
➢ Did you know that the Lord Jesus Christ had a dream so great that He did everything to fulfill
it all His life? His dream is establishing a generation of people who would believe in Him, follow Him
to the point of sacrificing their very own lives in order to fight for the redemption of His creation. He
called that generation of people His own Ekklessia, known in our modern time as the Church. You
and me are both part of Jesus' dream!

THE ORIGINAL PURPOSE OF THE EKKLESSIA.

➢ The original purpose of the Ekklessia or Church of Jesus Christ is to be the implementing
Body of the Victory He won at the Cross of Calvary two thousand eighteen years ago. Whereas
before, we were the slaves of sin and satan himself, but now, we are being made part of the Army
that would stop and reverse the works of darkness! Tell the person next to
you,"Isinilangnaangkatapat ng diablo, at iyon ay Tayo!" Aren't you exited that you are now part of the
body that would destroy the works of the enemy? Not only destroy, but you are now an agent of

Transformation, of Renewal and Restoration. Once you have experienced the power of God in your
life and transformed, you are automatically enlisted in His own Ekklessia! Otherwise, you are a
candidate to be enslaved again!
➢ You cannot fight the battle alone, you need to be part of the fighting Army, the Ekklessia, the
Church of Jesus Christ! The enemy is organized and have a hierarchy of "principalities, powers,
the rulers of the darkness of this age, spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."
(Ephesians 6:12). The "gates of hell" is satanic activities and strategies to destroy the Church, but
they shall not prevail against His Ekklessia.

THE QUALITIES OF JESUS' DREAM CHURCH:

1. A VICTORIOUS CHURCH.
You are victorious! Don't just give up, because if you do, God can call others to do your part.
2. A PREVAILING CHURCH.
Have a good start and make sure you will finish to the end!
3. A GROWING CHURCH.
Be progressive! To have an effective team, you must be complete. Everyday added (Act 2:41).
4. AN UNSTOPPABLE CHURCH.
No one and nothing can stop us doing the Vision of Christ

ACHIEVING JESUS' DREAM CHURCH: 1.

REDEFINE OUR DEFINITION OF LEADERSHIP.
➢ John Maxwell definition of Leadership: LEADERSHIP IS INFLUENCE.
➢ It is not enough that you are a great leader. It is not enough that you have a good education,
not enough that you are an influential person. You need to know who you are in God!
John 15:16 “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and
bearfruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may
give you." The fruit that Jesus is referring to is disciples. Character is also a fruit that we need, but
you don't need to go to produce character. On the other hand, we need character to produce
disciples.
➢ Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I
sanctified you; I ordained (assigned) you a prophet to the nations.”
➢ I am CHOSEN; I am APPOINTED; I have an ASSIGNMENT.
➢ Your Purpose: That you should "GO" and "BEAR FRUIT", "FRUIT THAT WOULD LAST".
We do not collect followers or members.
➢ Therefore, "LEADERSHIP" is production of cell leaders. This is our definition of

LEADERSHIP! 2. REDEFINE OUR DEFINITION OF A LEADER.

➢ Do not ask God to talk to your neighbors or your loved ones. It is your job to do that. He
already died on the cross, don't ask Him to do what He already assigned you to do. ➢A "LEADER" is
one who leads and handles people in a Cell group. 3. UNLEASH YOUR LEADERSHIP
POTENTIAL.
➢ Genesis 1:27 "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him;
male and female He created them."
➢ What God has, we also have! At Creation, you and me were loaded with potentials! Adam
named every animals and plants there is. There is a design of leadership that God has placed inside
of you.
All we have to do is to decide. Don't be hindered by circumstances! Don't even doubt your potential.

4. DEVELOP YOURSELF AS A LEADER.

➢ Develop the way you speak, think and act. Be communicative with eye to eye contact.
Develop yourself, form your habits as a leader.

5. CREATE LEADERSHIP CULTURE.

➢ Starts at home. Think as a leader, not a follower.
➢ COMER > FOLLOWER > DISCIPLE > LEADER > AGENT OF CHANGE.

6. MAKE A FRESH START OF FOLLOWING THE LORD.

➢ How is your commitment? Start again a fresh commitment of following the Lord in your
devotional life, in your Cell Group, in Sunday Celebrations, in Trainings and Conferences.
➢ Make a decision not to turn back.
➢ Even the disqualified can have a fresh start like the disciples of Jesus Christ. (Mark 1:16-20 )
➢Follow the Lord not by "NOT DOING, but by "DOING".

CONCLUSION:
➢ When God bless you, it would be a net-breaking, boat-sinking harvest!
