Onefatal choleracase at Cebu.

Cebu, P. I., November 4, 1902.
Sir: I have the honor to informyou that no cases of cholera have
occurredin the townsabout this bay with the exceptionof Cebu. One
case occurred October30 in the person of a white man who came from
Danao. He was promptlyisolated and I thinkwill not give muchdan-
ger of infectingthe town. The second case occurredon a banca from
Argao while she was held in quarantineto completethe required time
and did not enterthe townat all. The man died and was taken to the
cemeterywithout communicatingwith the city. No xases in Cebu
since October14, 1902.
Respectfully, H. A. Stansfield,
AssistantSurgeon.
The Surgeon-General,
