EXT: EMPTY ROAD – DAWN

VO:

MATTHEW, seventeen years old, 6’3, brunette, blue eyes,

melancholy voice.

MATTHEW
I live in a small village, in a small town, in a
small country, with relatively no will to live.

The camera begins a static shot facing a house in the

distance. The shot cuts to a static shot of swans
swimming in a lake to show tranquillity. The shot changes
to another static shot of a road with a telephone box.
The shot cuts to a final static shot of Matthew standing
on top of a tunnel at the edge with his arms out, the
dialogue finishes and the loud disturbing sounds of the
motorway fade in as Matthew falls backwards out of view,
the sounds of the motorway fade out. Then cuts to
birdseye shot of Matthew falling the same way onto his
bed.

INT: BEDROOM - MORNING

POV:

Of his ceiling as he lets out a small sigh. He then sits

up while still using a pov shot so the camera can see his
legs out on the bed, he is wearing a black suit.

EXT: CHURCHYARD – MORNING

We then see him walking out of a church holding

something. Then a shot of him lifting his trousers at the
knee as he sits on a bench.

POV:

The camera is pointed down at the funeral programme of

his best friend, and a water droplet appears on it.

LIAM, seventeen years old, 6’1, black hair, glasses,

skinny, brown eyes
