To provide students with the necessary knowledge, skills and competence acquisition in the field of
financial management of companies
Study course learning outcomes (knowledge, skills, competences):

1. Able to use information from financial reports


2. Able to analyze companies’ financial information for use in decision-making
3. Able to use financial planning data for operational and strategic planning
4. Able to present their views with supporting information (arguments)

The required study course content to achieve the learning outcomes (Study course thematic

1. The financial statements (balance sheet, profit or loss statement, cash flow), the information
contained therein
2. Financial ratios, solvency forecasting methods
3. Working capital management
4. Long-term capital management
5. Operational and strategic financial planning

Evaluation of the study course learning outcomes:

The final evaluation of the course for full-time students consists of a successfully passed 2 quizzes,
participation in the seminar and a successfully passed exam. The final score consists of: 40% evaluation
of quizzes, 20% participation in the seminar; 40% the exam evaluation.
