Lesson Title: What shall we do?

As a result of this lessons, students will be able to:


Learning Objectives:
- Talk about places in a city, shopping and
directions.
- Read and learn about a typical weekend.
- Describe actions.
- Talk about objects and people.

Materials and Resources: Light up 1 (Student and work book), Worksheets,


dictionary

I. Warm-up Lesson Procedure


Teacher shows students different places of the city and they have to recognize what place is it.

Then he asks some questions about each place.

II. Presentation

 The teacher begins by greeting and the date.


 Teacher stick some pictures and asks to the students.
 Teacher asks: What place is it? Do you know how you can say that in English?
 Cognitive conflict, teacher asks: What things can you do in each place?
 Today we are going to adapt and organize the information to communicate in oral way
about the places of the city.
 Teacher asks: What do you think is our topic for today?

III. Guided Practice

Teacher asks his students to open his book and together they see each picture and do the
exercises.

Students repeat each word of the vocabulary and recognize each place.

Students make a change drill:

I want to ………

You should go to the……….

Teacher present a reading and the students have to tell the unknown words and answer some
questions.

Then Teacher present a map and teaches how they can ask and give direction in the city.

IV. Independent Practice

 Teacher asks for the work book and asks to solve the exercises.

V. Consolidation

Teacher makes some riddles in order to ask about the paces in the city.

Students answer the questions.


Assessment and Feedback:

Teacher gives feedback to the students who have any doubts, in order to evaluate all the students.

No homework.
