Our admissions process
The selection process at UBC Sauder’s Robert H. Lee Graduate School is rigorous. We carefully
select applicants to ensure you learn from faculty, staff, and peers who demonstrate vision,
leadership, and experience.

Step 1 Review program-specific admissions requirements at www.sauder.ubc.ca. Please note,


requirements will differ for each program.*

Step 2 Create an account and start your application at www.sauder.ubc.ca/apply.

Step 3 Submit your supporting documents. Applications are reviewed by the admissions team once we
receive your complete application. If you submit unofficial documents at the time of application, official
documents must be received by the Admissions Office no later than the final document deadline.
Depending on the program of your choice, a complete application may include (but is not limited to):
• Transcripts/degree certificates/translation
• Letters of reference (electronic reference)
• GMAT/GRE scores (waivers are available)
• English proficiency exam results
• Video/written essays

Step 4 The applicants considered for admission will be contacted by the Robert H. Lee Graduate School for an
interview (if applicable) either in-person or by video call.

Step 5 If successful, you will receive a letter of admission from the Robert H. Lee Graduate School.
Accept your offer and pay the deposit.**

Step 6 Connect with our team, get to know your cohort, and prepare to join the class!

*To be eligible for the B+MM Dual Degree, you must be accepted into your UBC Bachelor’s degree of choice. If you are applying to the JD+MBA Dual Degree
program, you must apply to both programs, unless you are a current JD student at the Peter A. Allard School of Law.
**A deposit is required for admission to all UBC Sauder programs except the B+MM Dual Degree (a deposit will be required by the Undergraduate
Admissions Office).
