Telescopic cranes with 45t lifting capacity and IC1

Course target
Familiarisation with crane in all aspects of its design and functions, reading circuit diagrams,
adjustment and test procedures involving hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems

Prerequisites
Participation in course dealing with basic hydraulics and electrical systems or comparable
Skills in hydraulics and electrical systems

 Course briefing
 Joint tour of plant
 Presentation of crane, construction, general technical data
 Construction, special features, description of the various assemblies
 Operation, Safety precautions, limit switch
 Design and functions of the safety steering computer
 Description of the important hydraulic parts and their mode of operation in particular
hydraulic circuits
 Explanation of the hydraulic circuit diagrams for steering, suspension, outrigger and crane
hydraulics
 Explanation of the pneumatic circuit diagrams and air brakes
 Electric components and their functions with respect to control of the crane
 Explanation of the electric diagrams
 SLI – operation and function, measuring instrumentation, tests and adjustments to
 Electrical and hydraulic components, load charts

Day 1: 13:00 – 16:00
Day 2.-4.: 08:15 – 16:00
Day 5: 08:15 – 12:00

Times given apply to one-week course commencing on a Monday.
