PUBLIC NOTICE

The Government of Sindh with the approval of competent authority i.e. Chief
Minister Sindh and under the cabinet decision dated 27.04.2023, has re-constituted the Sindh
Government Land’s Committee under section – 4(1) of the Sindh State Land (Cancellation of
Allotments, conversions and exchanges) Ordinance No. III of 2000 vide notification No.
SO(C-IV)/SGA&CD/7-438/2001 dated 3rd August 2023 with TORs/Mandated mentioned
below:-
a. Notice may be published in the leading newspapers for general information of
public for regularization of their land within a period of two (02) years after that
no any case shall be entertained except the cases pending in the Honorable Courts.
However, the pending cases are covered under section -24 of the General Clause
Act, 1897.
b. The cases wherein the title is disputed and cases are pending in the various Courts
may not be processed for regularization till final decision of the Court to avoid
contempt proceedings.
c. The allotments, conversions or exchanges in which occupancy price was not
deposited at the time of allotment, conversions or exchanges may not be not
regularized, now, as advised by the Advocate General Sindh.
d. Necessary instructions may also be issued that the Lands which comes under
ambit of Ordinance, no sale-deed or power of Attorney(s) may be registered till
the land is regularized by LU Department.
e. The District administrations may be instructed to take immediate action against
those allottee(s) who has violated the terms and conditions of the allotment order
and lease agreement and utilized, the land for any other purpose other than it was
leased out. Also take action against lessee who has not yet utilized the land for the
purpose for which it was leased out within stipulated period i.e one year and the
land is still lying open sky as mentioned in the allotment order and lease
agreement.
Accordingly, this notice is published for general information of public and the
applications/ claims are invited from general public and all concerned to resolve the issues
related to the grant/ allotments of Sindh Government lands as stated in T.O.RS/ mandate.
It would be appropriate to note that after expiry of stipulated period of two (02)
years no any case shall be entertained and considered except the cases pending in the
Honourable Courts.
