Luk 1:1 FORASMUCH as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which
are most surely believed among us,
Luk 1:2 Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and
ministers of the word;
Luk 1:3 It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to
write unto you in order, most excellent Theophilus,
Luk 1:4 That you might know the certainty of those things, wherein you have been instructed.

Luk 1:5 THERE was in the days of Herod, the king of Yahud (The land or region of Judea.), a certain priest
named Zakaryahu, of the course of Aviyahu: and his woman was of the daughters of Aharon, and her
name was Eliysheva.
Herod, byname Herod the Great, Latin Herodes Magnus, (born 73 BCE—died March/April, 4 BCE, Jericho, Judaea),
Roman-appointed king of Judaea (37–4 BCE),
The New Testament refers to four different King Herods (Matthew 2:1; Luke 3:1; Acts
12:1-24; Acts 25:13-26:32). There are five King Herods in the New Testament.
The first King Herod appears in Matthew 2:1 when we are told,
Historical records identify the Herod in this passage as Herod the Great.[2] He was
the ruler of Judea at this time. He appears in the following verses in the New
Testament: Matthew 2:1, 3, 7, 12, 13, 16, 19, 22 and Luke 1:5.
The Other Herods: Herod Antipas, the Tetrarch of Galilee, appears next in multiple
places throughout the New Testament (Matthew 14:1-6; Mark 6:14-29; Luke 3:1, 19-
20; 9:7, 9; 13:31; 23:7-15; Acts 4:27; 12:1-21; 13:1).
Herod Philip, tetrarch of the region of Ituraea and Trachonitis, appears only in Luke
3:1.
Herod Agrippa I appears in the book of Acts (Acts 12:1-24) and Herod Agrippa II
appears near the end of Acts (Acts 25:13-26:32). The Acts 25 account in the NASB

Most historians today depend upon the work of Emil Schurer who wrote in A.D. 1890 that Herod the Great died in 4
B.C. He also provides a detailed, heavily footnoted seventeen pages accounting for the timeline of Herod the Great’s
reigned from 37 B.C. to 4 B.C.[4] However, Finegan has provided a table similar to one developed by Schurer that
shows Herod the Great died in 2/1 B.C.[5] Then later in his discussion, he demonstrates that Herod did not die in 4
B.C. but in 1 B.C.[6] His detailed information is impressive. In the following quote, he demonstrates that Herod Philip
died in the twenty-second year of Tiberius (A.D. 35/36), rather in the twentieth year. This shifts the death of Herod
the Great from 4 B.C. to 1 B.C. and in turn shifts the birth of Christ to 3/2 B.C.

named Zakaryahu, of the course of Aviyahu - We also see that Zekaryah belonged to the 8th division, 1 Ch 24:10 the

Zekaryah would serve in the 8th individual week after the Tequfah (vernal equinox) had initiated Yahuah's new year.
He would also serve during the weeks of Passover/Unleavened Bread and Shavuot when all priests must perform
service duty together during the Moedim (Appointed Times).
Zekaryah (while serving at the Altar of Incense – Luke 1:8, 9) was burning the incense – roughly, in the week prior

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the Torah, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but
to fulfil.
but to fulfil. - G4137 πληρόω plēroō - play-ro'-o,
The KJV translates Strong's G4137 in the following manner: fulfil (51x), fill (19x), be full (7x), complete (2x), end (2x),
miscellaneous (9x).
to make full, to fill up, i.e. to fill to the full
to cause to abound, to furnish or supply liberally
I abound, I am liberally supplied
to render full, i.e. to complete
to fill to the top: so that nothing shall be wanting to full measure, fill to the brim
to consummate: a number
to make complete in every particular, to render perfect
to carry through to the end, to accomplish, carry out, (some undertaking)
to carry into effect, bring to realisation, realise
of matters of duty: to perform, execute
of sayings, promises, prophecies, to bring to pass, ratify, accomplish
to fulfil, i.e. to cause Yahuah's will (as made known in the torah) to be obeyed as it should be, and Yahuah's promises
(given through the prophets) to receive fulfilment
Mat 5:18 For amein I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one Yod or one tittle shall in no wise pass
from the Torah, till all be fulfilled.
Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments[in the Torah], and shall teach
men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of YAHUAH: but whosoever shall do and teach them,
the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of YAHUAH.

CHANOK 99:2 Woe to them who pervert the Words of uprightness, and transgress the eternal Torah,
and transform themselves into what they were not - into sinners! They shall be trodden under foot upon
the earth. Chanok 97:6
Note – eternal Torah – a far call from Christian doctrine.
We know that Judaism lay claim to Torah – instead they follow Talmud, Kabbalah, and Zohar – they are wizards.

Messianic prophecy is phenomenal evidence that sets Scripture (the Bible) apart from the other Kadosh
(set apart books). We strongly encourage you to read the Tanakh prophecies and the Besorah
fulfillment's. Better yet, get a Hebrew Tanakh and read the Messianic prophecies from there. It is
dramatic, eye-opening and potentially life-changing The noun prophecy describes a “prediction of the
future, made under divine inspiration” or a “revelation of y (Yahuah).” The act of making a prophecy

is the verb, prophesy. Of the prophecies written in Tanakh (the Bible) about events that were to have
taken place by now, everyone was fulfilled with 100% accuracy. This is a statement that can not be
truthfully made about any other “sacred writing.” This is important because Says y (Yahuah) will
give us a savior who provides a way for us to enter Yahuah's Kingdom. If the prophecies are 100%
accurate, we know it is going to happen.

Messianic prophecy was fulfilled by the Messiah, [ (Yahusha) the Messiah. Although many
Hebrews did not accept [ (Yahusha) as their Messiah, many did, based in dramatic part on the
fulfillment of historical prophecies, spread rapidly throughout the Roman Empire of the 1st Century.
Examine the prophecies yourself, and calculate the probability of one man fulfilling just a handful of the
most specific ones, and you'll be amazed.
[ (Yahusha) said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you,
that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms
concerning Me.” Luke 24:44

Messianic prophecy is the collection of over 300 prophesies with over 100 predictions that could only be
fulfilled by [ (Yahusha) (a conservative estimate) in the Tanakh (Tanakh) about the future
Messiah of the Hebrew people. These predictions were written by multiple authors, in numerous books,
over approximately 1,000 years. Messianic Prophecy is so dramatic today, because with the discovery of
the Dead Sea Scrolls which were discovered in eleven caves along the northwest shore of the Dead Sea
between the years 1947 and 1956. The mostly fragmented texts, are numbered according to the cave that
they came out of. They have been called the greatest manuscript discovery of modern times.
Only Caves 1 and 11 have produced relatively intact manuscripts. Discovered in 1952, these Caves
produced the largest find. About 15,000 fragments from more than 500 manuscripts were found.
In all, scholars have identified the remains of about 825 to 870 separate scrolls.
The Scrolls can be divided into two categories—Scriptural and non-Scriptural. Fragments of every book of
the Hebrew canon (Tanakh) have been discovered except for the book of Esther.
There are now identified among the scrolls, 19 copies of the Book of Yeshayahu, 25 copies of
Deuteronomy and 30 copies of the Psalms .
Prophecies by Ezekiel, Yirmeyahu and Daniy’el not found in Scripture are written in the Scrolls. The
Yeshayahu Scroll, found relatively intact, is 1000 years older than any previously known copy of
Yeshayahu. In fact, the scrolls are the oldest group of Tanakh manuscripts ever found, these along with
the reliability of the Septuagint version of the Tanakh which is the most ancient translation of the Tanakh
and consequently is invaluable to critics for understanding and correcting the Hebrew text (Massorah),

the latter, such as it has come down to us, being the text established by the Massoretes in the sixth
century A.D. Many textual corruptions, additions, omissions, or transpositions must have crept into the
Hebrew text between the third and second centuries B.C. and the sixth and seventh centuries of our era;
the manuscripts therefore which the Seventy had at their disposal, may in places have been better than
the Masoretic manuscripts.
The Septuagint Version accepted first by the Alexandrian Hebrews, and afterwards by all the Greek-
speaking countries, helped to spread among the Gentiles the idea and the expectation of the Messiah,
and to introduce into Greek the theological terminology that made it a most suitable instrument for the
propagation of the Message of the Messiah.
The Hebrews made use of it long before the Christian/Natsarim Era, and in the time of Messiah it was
recognized as a legitimate text, and was employed in Palestine even by the rabbis. The Apostles and
Evangelists utilized it also and borrowed Tanakh citations from it, especially in regard to the prophecies.
The Tanakh books in Scripture (all of them written between 1450 BC and 430 BC) contained hundreds of
prophecies about an “anointed one” (“Messiah” in Hebrew) who would arrive in their future. The Messiah
would “deliver” or “save” the Hebrew people, bringing them to paradise or heaven. These prophecies
also stated that the Messiah would save the other people in the world “through the Hebrews.” For this
reason, people who are not Hebrew (Nations) need to learn about the Messiah, too.
Both the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Septuagint Version have been proven to exist prior to the time
[ (Yahusha) walked on the earth and you can be assured that these prophecies were not
“conspired” after-the-fact.

Even a casual reader of Scripture will notice something “different” about Psalm 22 and Yeshayahu 52:13
to 53:12. They tell stories that perfectly parallel events in the life of [ (Yahusha) that took place
much later. Psalm 22 is especially amazing since it predicted 11 separate things about [
(Yahusha)'s crucifixion about a thousand years before they happened. We know that David (the author of
Psalm 22) lived about 1043-973 BC and Yeshayahu lived about 740-680 BC. Both passages, written far
ahead of the time of [ (Yahusha), are strong proof that help you believe that Scripture was
literally inspired by y (Yahuah).

Many people who do not believe in the Bible say this. However, manuscripts have been found that
confirm that these various prophecies were written down 400-1,000 years before they actually occurred.
The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Septuagint Version put to rest most of this thinking.

Some of the prophecies occur as part of the text of a story. So, a natural question would be, “How do you
know these are Messianic prophecies? Couldn't someone have read these texts after [ y (Yahusha)
came along and claimed they are Messianic prophecies?”
The reason we know these texts were intended to be Messianic prophecies is because they were
recognized (and discussed) by the Hebrews before [ y (Yahusha)'s birth. For example:
One of the common debates was whether or not “the Messiah” was actually two people (or twins) since
it seemed impossible to them that one person could accomplish both of the Messiah's “goals” (Yeshayahu
61:1-3).
We now know that [ (Yahusha) accomplished one goal (preaching the “good news” and
becoming the sacrifice that saves us through the new Covenant) when He came to Earth, he told
everyone y (Yahuah)'s new plan of salvation, and was crucified.
He will fulfill the other goal (being our Savior and Master, ruling at y (Yahuah)'s right hand,[
Mat 26:64] and judging the people who do not follow y (Yahuah) when He comes back to
Earth [6th Seal – 6th Trumpet] (often called “the second coming”).
This required being raised from the dead, a possibility the Hebrews never considered. When [ y
(Yahusha) was raised from the dead,[Mat 28:6] many Hebrews then recognized how the Messiah could be
“one man.”
From that time, many Hebrews and non-Hebrews alike have chosen to get right with y (Yahuah) and
become believers in [ (Yahusha). Many of them made their decision based on the evidence of
these fulfilled Messianic prophecies.
Couldn't Someone Besides [ (Yahusha) Fulfill These Prophecies? The number representing the
odds against them all being fulfilled by anyone would be enormous, even impossible to fulfill all that
[ (Yahusha) fulfilled. This makes the fact that [ (Yahusha) fulfilled them all is a miracle in
itself. Still, some questions that may come to mind are:
• Couldn't anyone else have fulfilled these prophecies if they really tried?
• Even though [ (Yahusha) fulfilled these prophecies, how do we know He is THE Messiah. Other
religions say they have a Prophet that followed in [oSvhy (Yahusha) footsteps and is the real Messiah or
Christ.
• I understand the Hebrews are still waiting for the Messiah. Isn't it possible that [ (Yahusha)
happened to fulfill these prophecies and that the “real” Messiah will still come some day?
You will notice that many of the prophecies are not under human control. In other words, if someone
tried to fulfill all of them, how would they be (1) born in Bethlehem Ephratah (2) with a virgin for a
mother? Already they would have a problem and these are only two prophecies. Even a casual glance
through this list reveals that a person could not fulfill them by their own efforts.
There are many people that have claimed to be the Messiah (or a similar title that they gave themselves

like “Elohim's Prophet”). Some of them founded false religions and cults, and have many followers.
Anyone who has read Scripture (the Bible) expected to see them appear. Two thousand years ago,
[ (Yahusha) Himself said there would be many false Messiahs and prophets that follow him
(Matthew 7:15; Matthew 24:11; Matthew 24:23-25; Mark 13:21-23).
Examine these other “prophets” yourself. Was their appearance clearly predicted in Scripture (the Bible)?
Did they fulfill all the messianic prophecies? The answer is obvious, none of them even came close.
It is true that the Hebrews, y (Yahuah)'s chosen people, are still waiting for their Messiah. However,
not recognizing their own Messiah is part of y (Yahuah)'s plan (Romans 11:2527) that allows
everyone else be saved (Yo’el 2:32; Romans 10:13). Scripture clearly states that “those who are first will
be last” (Matthew 19:30 and 20:16, Mark 10:31, and Luke 13:30). The Hebrews were the first of y
(Yahuah)'s people, but they are kept unaware of their own Messiah until the end times when everyone on
the earth hears about [ y (Yahusha) the Messiah. Once this happens, then some followers of the cult
of Judaism will realize that [ (Yahusha) is the Messiah. At that time, [ (Yahusha) will
return to the earth, bringing those who accept REPENT to Him as their Messiah in heaven.

There are over 300 prophecies foretelling the coming Hebrew Messiah - hundreds of years before [oSvhy
(Yahusha) was born in Bethlehem.
[ (Yahusha) fulfilled at least 365 of these prophecies. Of these 365 prophecies, there are 109 that
ONLY [ (Yahusha) could have fulfilled.

A prophet like unto Moses. This was prophesied by Moses, himself:

“ y (Yahuah) your Elohim (Elohim) will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your
brethren. Him you shall hear, 16 according to all you desired of y (Yahuah) your Elohim (Elohim) in
Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of y (Yahuah) my Elohim
(Elohim) , nor let me see this great fire anymore, lest I die.' 17 “And y (Yahuah) said to me: ‘What
they have spoken is good. 18 I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and
will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. 19 And it shall be
that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him.[AD 70]
Deuteronomy 18:15-19

Like Moses, the Messiah would be a leader, a prophet, a lawgiver, a deliverer, a teacher, a priest , an
anointed one, a mediator, a human and one of y (Yahuah)'s chosen people (a Hebrew) performing

the role of intermediary between y (Yahuah) and man, speaking the words of y (Yahuah) and
like Moses, the Messiah would offer himself to die for the sins of the people and to fulfill the prophecies
and establish the Renewed Covenant.[Yirmeyahu 31:31] Both Moses and [ (Yahusha) performed
many miracles validating their message. As infants, both their lives were threatened by evil kings, and
both were supernaturally protected from harm. Both spent their early years in Mitsrayim. Both taught
new truths from y (Yahuah). Both cured lepers (Matthew 8:2-3; Numbers 12:10-15) and confronted
demonic powers. Both were initially doubted in their roles by their siblings. Moses lifted up the brazen
serpent to heal all his people who had faith; [ (Yahusha) was lifted up on the tree to heal all who
would have faith in Him. Moses appointed 70 elders to rule YYisrael (Numbers 11:16-17); [
(Yahusha) appointed 70 disciples to teach the nations (Luke 10:1, 17). And there are many other parallels
between the lives of Moses and [ (Yahusha).

The Messiah would be a descendant of Noah's son, Shem.

Noah said, "Blessed be y (Yahuah) Elohim (Elohim) of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. y
(Yahuah) shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant
(Genesis 9:26-27). Chapter 10 goes on list descendants of Shem, noting that he was ancestor of Eber
(Heber) Luke 3:35, the founder of the Hebrew race.
Noah associated Shem especially with the worship of y (Yahuah), recognizing the dominantly
spiritual motivations of Shem and thus implying that y (Yahuah)'s promised Deliverer would
ultimately come from Shem.
He would be a descendant of Shem named Abraham (Genesis 22:18; 12; 17;22).
Fulfilled: See Messiah's genealogy in Matthew 1.
He would be a descendant of Abraham's son, Yitsḥaq, not Ishmael (Genesis 17; 21). Fulfilled: See
Messiah's genealogy in Matthew 1.
He would be a descendant of Yitsḥaq’s son, Ya’aqov, not Esau (Genesis 28; 35:10-12; Numbers 24:17).
Fulfilled: See Messiah's genealogy in Matthew 1.
He would be a descendant of Yahudah (Yahudah), not of the other eleven brothers of Ya’aqov. Fulfilled:
See Messiah's genealogy in Matthew 1.
He would be a descendant of the family of Yishai in the tribe of Yahudah (Yeshayahu 11:1-5). Fulfilled: See
Messiah's genealogy in Matthew 1 and Luke 3:23-38.
He would be of the house of David (2 Samuel 7:12-16; Yirmeyahu 23:5; Psalm 89:34). Fulfilled: See
Messiah's genealogy in Matthew 1; Luke 1:27, 32, 69. Note: Since the Hebrew genealogical records were
destroyed in 70 A.D., along with the destruction of Yahrushalayim and the Temple, it would not be
possible for a Messiah imposter who was born later to prove his lineage back to David and thus fulfill this
prophecy.
He will be born in a small city called Bethlehem, specifically the one formerly known as Ephratah (Micah

Miryam and Yoceph; it was forced upon them by Caesar Augustus' taxation decree which required Yoceph
to leave his home in the city of Nazareth and return to his place of origin to pay the tax.
Special interest** The birthplace of [ (Yahusha), Bethlehem, meaning house of bread, is one of
the most famous Scripture Places of Scriptural History. So famous in fact that it has eclipsed another town
that existed in Yisrael by the same name. The Bethlehem where the Messiah was born is in the south,
near Yahrushalayim, in the territory of Yahudah. The other Bethlehem is in the north, near Nazareth, in
the territory of Zebulun
The Pharisees knew for certain that the Messiah could only be born in Bethlehem Ephratah and that
Micah 5:2 was definitely a Messianic prophecy. So, every time "Bethlehem" is mentioned it always refers
to Bethlehem Ephratah in the south of the country below Yahrushalayim and adds more clarity and
credibility to the prophesy and to the birth place of the true messiah.
The most famous Bethlehem is located in the hill country (approximately 2,500 feet above sea level) of
Yahudah (Yahudah). Situated on the main highway to Mitzrayim (which came in very useful just after the
birth of [ (Yahusha), it was known variously as
Ephrath (Genesis 35:16), Bethlehem Ephratah (Micah 5:2), Bethlehem-Yahudah (1 Samuel 17:12), and
"the city of David" (Luke 2:4)
He will be born of a virgin (Yeshayahu 7:14). Fulfilled: Matthew 1; Luke 1.
The Messiah would be the “seed of of a woman” come to destroy the work of the Devil. Not long after
Creation, y (Yahuah) prophesied to the serpent HaSatan, “And I will put enmity between you and
the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His
heel” (Genesis 3:15). The implication was that Eve's descendant would undo the damage that HaSatan
had caused.
The “seed of the woman” can only be an allusion to a future descendant of Eve who would have no
human father. Biologically, a woman produces no seed, and except in this case Scriptural usage always
speaks only of the seed of men. This promised Seed would, therefore, have to be miraculously implanted
in the womb. In this way, He would not inherit the sin nature which would disqualify every son of Adam
from becoming a Savior from sin. This prophecy thus clearly anticipates the future virgin birth of Messiah .
HaSatan will inflict a painful wound on the woman's Seed, but Messiah in turn will inflict a mortal wound
on the Serpent, crushing his head. This prophecy was fulfilled in the first instance on the tree, but will
culminate when the triumphant Messiah [ (Yahusha) casts HaSatan into the lake of fire
(Revelation 20:10).
In the Besorah, Messiah's apostle Yahuchanon confirms that this was His Master's purpose, “He who does
what is sinful is of HaSatan (the devil), because HaSatan has been sinning from the beginning. The reason
the Son of y (Yahuah) appeared was to destroy HaSatan's work” (1 John 3:8; Hebrews 2:14;
Revelation 20:10.)

He will be a priest after the order of Melchitzideck (Psalm 110:4). Fulfilled: Hebrews 5:6
The scepter shall not pass from the tribe of Yahudah (Yahudah) until the Messiah comes. In other words,
He will come before [ (Yahusha) Yisrael (Yisrael) loses its right to judge her own people. The
patriarch Ya’aqov prophesied this:
The scepter shall not depart from Yahudah (Yahudah), nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh
come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. (Genesis 49:10)
According to the Hebrew historian Yocephus, the Sanhedrin of Yisrael lost the right to truly judge its own
people when it lost the right to pass death penalties in 11 A.D. (Yocephus, Antiquities, Book 17, Chapter
13).[ (Yahusha) was certainly born before 11 A.D.
He will come while the Temple of Yahrushalayim is standing (Malachi 3:1; Psalm 118:26; Daniy’el 9:26;
Zechariah 11:13; Haggai 2:7-9). Fulfilled: Matthew 21:12, etc. (Note: The Temple did not exist at certain
periods in Hebrew history, and it was finally destroyed in 70 A.D.)
He will perform many miracles (Yeshayahu 35:5-6). Fulfillment: See list of Miracles Recorded in the
Gospels.
He will open the eyes of the blind (Yeshayahu 29:18). Fulfillment: Matthew 9:27-31; 12:22; 20:29; Mark
8:22-26; 10:46; Luke 11:14; 18:35; John 9:1-7.
He will speak in parables (Psalm 78:2). Fulfillment: Matthew 13:34, etc.
The Nations will believe in Him, while His own people (the Hebrews) will reject him ( Yeshayahu
8:14;28:16; 49:6; 50:6; 60:3; Psalms 22:7-8; 118:22). Fulfillment: 1 Peter 2:7, etc.
A messenger (a man of the wilderness) will prepare the way for Him (Yeshayahu 40:3; Malachi 3:1). See
Yochanan the Immerser (Matthew 3:1-3; 11:10; John 1:23; Luke 1:17).
The exact day of His public revealing to Yisrael (Yisrael) and subsequent death.
The precise timing of [ (Yahusha)' crucifixion was also given to the Hebrews when y
(Yahuah) revealed to the prophet Daniy’el (Daniy’el 9:24) how the Hebrews could calculate the day of the
revealing of the Messiah.
Talking of a 490 year period, the prophet foresaw that it would begin “from the going forth of the
commandment to restore and build Yahrushalayim” (Daniy’el 9:25). In the book of Nehemiah we learn
that this command was given "in the month Nisan [on the Hebrew calendar], in the twentieth year of the
king" (Nehemiah 2:1). The king was Artaxerxes Longimanus who ruled from 465 to 425 B.C. The prophet
Daniy’el said that 483 years from that date, the Messiah would be revealed to Yisrael, but He would
then "be cut off, but not for himself" (Daniy’el 9:26). This prophecy refers to the crucifixion when
[ (Yahusha) died, or was cut off, for the sins of the world.
483 years later, to the day, was Sunday, April 6, 32 A.D. On that day, which we commemorate as Palm
Sunday, [ (Yahusha) rode into Yahrushalayim on a donkey and revealed Himself as Yisrael's
Messiah. He was killed four days later, thus fulfilling the prophecy that He would be revealed and then
slain.

He will be betrayed (Psalm 41:9). Fulfillment: Matthew 27:3-10.
More specifically, He will be betrayed by a friend (Psalm 41:9). Fulfillment: Matthew 27:3-10; 26:47-48.

The betrayal money will be cast onto the floor (Zechariah 11:13). Fulfillment: Matthew 27:5.
More specifically, it will be cast onto the floor of the Temple (Zechariah 11:13). Fulfillment: Matthew
27:3-10.
The betrayal money will be used to buy a potter's field (Zechariah 11:13). Fulfillment: Matthew 27:6-10.
He will not open his mouth to defend himself (Yeshayahu 53:7). Fulfillment: Matthew 27:12.
He will be beaten and spit upon (Yeshayahu 50:6). Fulfillment: Matthew 26:67; 27:26-30.
He will be “numbered with the transgressors” (Yeshayahu 53:12). Fulfillment: [ (Yahusha) was
crucified as a criminal in between two thieves (Matthew 27:38).
He will be pierced (Zechariah 12:10). Fulfillment: John 19:34
His hands and feet will be pierced (Psalm 22:16; Zechariah 12:10;Galatians 3:13). Crucifixion foretold.
Psalm 22 graphically prophecies the Messiah's manner of death. At the time the psalm was written (and
long after), the penalty for blasphemy was stoning. However, at the time [ (Yahusha) was
condemned by the Sanhedrin, it no longer had the legal right to put people to death. Thus, the case was
taken to the Roman governor Pontius Pilate who crucified him according to Roman custom.
The Hebrew Passover sacrifice and [ (Yahusha) the Messiah's sacrificial death coincide exactly.
The dates on which [ (Yahusha) was taken by the Roman authorities, and then slain, also
coincided precisely with the Hebrew Passover. [ (Yahusha) became the Passover Lamb, “without
blemish.” At the first Passover, described in Exodus 12, y (Yahuah) instructed the Yisraelites to kill a
lamb with no blemishes and to put its blood on their door posts. When the angel of death passed through
Mitsrayim where the Yisraelite’s were being held as slaves, it would pass by any house that had the blood
of the Passover lamb on its door posts. [ (Yahusha) fulfilled Moses' prophecy of the Passover
Lamb because it is through His blood that we can be saved from, or passed over by death.
His bones will not be broken (Psalm 34:20; Exodus 12 states that the Passover lamb's bones are not to be
broken.). Fulfillment: John 19:33.
They will divide his clothing and cast lots for them (Psalm 22:18). Fulfillment: John 19:23-24.
He will be given vinegar and gall to drink (Psalm 69:21). Fulfillment: Matthew 27:34, 48.
He will say: “My Aloah (Elohim), my Aloah (Elohim), why have you forsaken me?” (Psalm 22:1).
Fulfillment: Matthew 27:46.
He will be buried with the rich (Yeshayahu 53:9). Fulfillment: Matthew 27,

Condition for Yahusha – Temple must be standing!! He will come while the Temple of Yahrushalayim is standing
(Malachi 3:1; Psalm 118:26; Daniy’el 9:26; Zechariah 11:13; Haggai 2:7-9).
Mal 3:2 But who may abide ‫ את‬the day of his[Yahusha] coming? and who shall stand when he appears? for
he is like a refiner's fire [remove dross], and like fullers' soap[whiten, purify]:
Thus the question, "Who can endure his coming?" When the soap comes only those who are pure will remain.
Certainly not the sorcerers or the adulterers or those who speak falsely or the those who oppress the hired worker,
the widow, the fatherless, and the stranger, says Malachi.
Mal 3:3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify ‫ את‬the sons of Leviy, and
