2010 TRANSMISSION MEDITATION CONFERENCE

KEYNOTE TALK
Towards group initiation (2)
by Benjamin Creme

(From the January/February 2011 issue of Share International magazine)

The following article is an edited version of a talk given by Benjamin Creme at the Transmission Meditation
Conference held at Marin County Headlands near San Francisco, USA, in August 2010.

The achieving of mass group initiation is the most important subject we could be discussing. Group initiation has
never been remotely possible in the history of Hierarchy, and that is going back a long way. Many Masters over the
years have tried to bring it about through the various groups in the world but have never succeeded.

Group initiation is perhaps different from what you think it is. It is the initiation of a large group of individuals more
or less at the same level of advancement, achieved by the restructuring of the conscious awareness of the many
people making up the groups in the world.

It has never been possible for the Masters to bring about group initiation, even with a worldwide group like the
Theosophical Society. I am sure much was hoped to be achieved by the Masters at the introduction of Theosophy to
the world. It did not achieve group initiation or even near it, although, of course, Theosophy spread throughout the
world and achieved much. Very many people were interested, many were deeply affected and achieved their own
status, but group initiation eluded them.

It was tried again through Helena Roerich who brought in the Agni Yoga teachings, and again it failed. Again it did
not sufficiently awaken the disciples in the world, who were about to enter into the Second World War. The Agni
Yoga teachings were given between 1924 and 1939, and had very much to do with preparing humanity for the
experience of the war, hopefully the last Great War ever on planet Earth.

There have been many other experiments made by various Masters, which have always failed for lack of an all-
embracing theme that would enable the groups throughout the world to be held together by that magnetic call. There
was never a theme big and strong enough to bring the groups together and hold them in such a way that group
initiation could take place. It is not the fault of Hierarchy, of course. It is not really the fault of humanity, but
everything that holds humanity back is indeed the fault of humanity as a whole. It is our karma.

Today there is a glimmering new light in humanity, and a new hope has arisen in the minds of the Masters that
perhaps in this coming time it will be possible for group initiation to become a fact. It is not certain but it looks
more promising than it ever has.

I am sure you sometimes feel that what you are doing is miniscule, against the weight of average public opinion in
the world. What you are involved in must sometimes seem too weak, too small a force to overcome the inertia of the
billions of otherwise engaged people in the world. But as all Hierarchical measures do, this possibility of achieving
group initiation has made a certain small but definite impact in the world and in Hierarchy, and is on the way to
being achieved if people hold their attention high. As I keep saying to people, "Hold your attention high." It does
mean simply holding your attention high, but of course it is more than that. It means holding the spiritual tension
generated by the activity and action in two directions: spreading and practising of Transmission Meditation around
the world and making known the Reappearance of the Christ at this time. This is a considerable achievement in its
own right.

More and more people are beginning to understand that what we have been talking about is, from a very practical
perspective, what they are concerned about - the world at large, the world that is dealing them very difficult options
today, and they do not know what to do.

Our life's work is not easy, to be sure, but it is circumscribed. As part of humanity, we have to earn a living. We
have to find our way through this so-called recession. We have to withstand the pain of the wilderness experience
and, like all of humanity, come through it. We have to come through it without being shaken or being beaten by it,
with our heads high and our attention even higher, because we are involved in something even greater than we have
perhaps until now realized.

The creation of group initiation is the result of two things: the achievement on the outer plane of a state of being
equal in spiritual tension to that achieved on the inner, ashramic plane; and the physical appearance of the Christ
and His group of Masters. The coming into the world of the Christ we take as a simple thing: Maitreya comes out
into the world. Some of His Masters come with Him, eventually a large group of Masters. We call it the
externalization of the Hierarchy, which it is, but what does it really mean?

It is not just the inner working of

Maitreya and the Hierarchy as a whole
coming onto the outer physical plane for
the first time in 98,000 years. It is also
the ability on the outer physical plane
for a group working occultly as
disciples, at a certain point of evolution,
to hold a spiritual tension equal to that
held in the ashrams of the inner planes.
The externalization of the Hierarchy is
not simply the Masters coming into the
world. It is the creation of an unbroken
link between the outer groups and their
inner ashrams. That is achieved by what
seems at first sight and first reading to
be very difficult but necessary actions,
so difficult that it has never been
achieved. It does not just happen easily
Transmission Meditation is the linking factor between all the groups and
and automatically, but is the result of
between the groups and Hierarchy. Transmission Meditation is a Hierarchical specific transforming work.
enterprise. It was given to the world by the Masters to help bring about the long
sought-for group initiation. The groups working in Transmission
Meditation and for the Reappearance of
the Christ are engaged in that process,
which so far has never succeeded. But because the idea of the Reappearance of the Christ is so potent and so
magnetic, it becomes possible for a group of disciples spread across the globe in various but linked states of
discipleship to achieve group initiation.

Group initiation is not a group of initiates all taking the same initiation. It is a group of disciples at different levels,
all taking initiation roughly at the same time, all imbued with the spiritual tension that makes that possible. The
building of spiritual tension in the outer field that corresponds to that held in the inner ashrams makes possible the
externalization of Hierarchical work in the outer world.

The keynote to all this is Transmission Meditation. It is Transmission Meditation that links together the groups
engaged in this work. What is the present situation? I am afraid to say that many of the groups in the world have not
yet been successful in building the spiritual tension necessary to link correctly with the inner ashrams. There is only
one answer to that - more work, more Transmission and a different attitude towards Transmission Meditation,
seeing it for what it is as the linking factor between all the groups and between the groups and Hierarchy.
Transmission Meditation is a Hierarchical enterprise. It was given to the world by the Masters to help bring about
the long sought-for group initiation.

To achieve anything worthwhile we have to lose something. Everything attained is at the sacrifice of something
lesser. We have to be ready to destroy certain aspects of our lives, and this is true for all groups everywhere. This is
true wherever a Transmission Meditation group is working.

The whole point of Transmission Meditation is that it is a Hierarchical exercise. It is not to be taken lightly. It is not
something we do when we feel like it. It is something we do because it is the best, most important thing we could
do. Linking and working with Hierarchy is part of creating an outer reflection of the inner ashrams.

You are all part of an ashram. You cannot be otherwise; you would not be doing this work were it otherwise. But I
imagine that very few think in these terms. When you are doing Transmission Meditation you probably do not think
of it as more than just a useful adjunct to your work in preparation for the Reappearance of the Christ. Both are
important, but the Reappearance of the Christ is already achieved insofar as Maitreya and a small group of Masters
are now in the world. But the Reappearance of the Christ in its fullest sense concerns a large group of Masters,
about 40, two-thirds of the Masters involved in the human evolution plus Maitreya. It is a momentous happening.

When the Masters are working more openly, we will find that They do not want to stand above and outside
humanity. They want to work with humanity, as part of humanity, but They can only work with those who are able
to work with Them. In the beginning, one of the easiest ways to work with the Masters is in Transmission
Meditation. They gave Transmission Meditation to the world for this purpose. It is an important way for the Masters
to distribute the spiritual energies that They have in relative abundance at this time. Transmission Meditation
provides the highest method of distributing these spiritual potencies.

The Reappearance of the Christ is really the coming into the world of a large segment of the inner ashrams of the
Masters, the externalization of the work of Hierarchy. Part of that achievement is the coming from the inner planes
to the outer plane to continue the work without lessening the spiritual reality achieved on the inner planes. There has
to be an equal manifestation on the outer plane to that already achieved on the inner planes. Otherwise the work of
Hierarchy is not being externalized.

The Masters must be able to work on the outer plane as They work on the inner planes. We, as part of that larger
Hierarchy of which They are the Senior members, have to do the same. Group initiation cannot take place until the
spiritual tension is achieved and held by the groups in unison throughout the world. This is not easily attained. It is
something that has to be recognized as important, put into practice and actually achieved.

Most of you know the great Rule XI as DK writes about it. I went very thoroughly into this great Rule and its four
parts back in 1988. I am returning to it now not to go through the whole gamut again, because you all know it, do
you not? This is just a reminder.

I am going to ask you to do a bit of reading - Maitreya's Mission Volume Two, Chapter 19. It is called Towards
Group Initiation. Read it again and again until you really, deeply understand its meaning, which is both clear and
obscure at the same time. On one level it seems not too difficult. On another level it is so obscure that you have to
think about it many times and read it many more times to realise its underlying truth.

I am going to read the four points of Rule XI, the great requirements. The achievement of these four requirements is
absolutely necessary for the achievement of group initiation.

The achieving of non-sentimental group interrelations. It seems simple. Do not be sentimental in your group
relations. This is to do with sentiment not sentimentality. You will find when you read Chapter 19 of Maitreya's
Mission II that this is not as simple as it sounds. It is difficult. Because all the requirements are difficult, group
initiation has never been achieved. Never has a group on a world scale had enough inspiration, enough magnetic
appeal in what they were doing, like preparing for the Reappearance of the Christ and doing Transmission
Meditation.

Everyone has thought that Transmission Meditation is an effective service that takes you forward and speeds up
your evolution. That is the way I present it when I am giving a talk on Transmission. You cannot talk about Rule XI
when you are preparing to tell people what Transmission Meditation is, how to join a group and practise
Transmission. No one would start if you said, "Well, before that you have to master the four points of Rule XI."
"Well, good night. We are off." More would go home than is usually the case.

The second requirement is learning how to use the forces of destruction constructively. I told you it was difficult.
For those who have never looked at these requirements, or who never thought that they would have to face them one
day, learning how to use the forces of destruction constructively must seem terrible indeed. What are the forces of
destruction, in any case? Does anyone have any idea?

"The will?" "Greed?" "Glamour?" "Materialism?"

The forces of destruction are the forces of the Atmic level of spiritual consciousness. There are three spiritual
planes: Manasic, Buddhic and Atmic. The Manasic plane covers the intelligence factor; the Buddhic, the love-
wisdom aspect; and the Atmic, the will or purpose, or destroyer aspect. When the requisite spiritual tension is
reached in the group as a whole, the worldwide group, these three aspects become manifest.
When the spiritual tension is at a certain level, the Manasic aspect is reached and brought into being. When the
Buddhic level is achieved in its turn, the consciousness is enriched by the love aspect. These two achieved invoke
the third, the Atmic level, in which everything that stands in the way of the spiritual outflow from the inner to the
outer is destroyed by using these energies of destruction. Shiva, the destroyer, destroys that which stands in the way
of the higher.

All progress in life, in the occult sense, all achievement along the path of evolution, is made by the renunciation of a
lower aspect to bring in a higher aspect. It is always the way. The lower has to be abandoned, destroyed and
removed from blocking the manifestation of the higher aspect. The Buddhic, the Love aspect, adds to the quality of
the whole, while the highest aspect, the Atmic, destroys that which stands in the way of the full manifestation of the
Manasic, the Buddhic, and the essential oneness of the Atmic itself.

The Atmic is that from which all descends. It stands behind the whole of the manifested universe, and by its
destructive power it breaks down all that stands in the way of the fuller expression of the next, higher phase at any
given level. It does this throughout one's life and, of course, throughout the lives of those making up a huge,
international group. In this way the groups in the world are lifted higher and higher energetically.

Every disciple goes through this process, which takes place at each stage, from the first initiation to the fourth. All
of this is related to the fourth initiation because it is about renunciation; it is the crucifixion. The lesser is crucified
(sacrificed) to leave the door open, as it were, for the spiritual life of the resurrected Master. At every step of the
way this entire process is re-enacted again and again, until eventually the man or woman stands free; and nothing
hinders because they have achieved and become the Master.

There is a very close relationship between the process of group initiation and the fourth initiation. At the fourth
initiation the soul, which is the spiritual link between the divine spark and the personality on the physical plane, is
reabsorbed by the monad, the life principle. This leads to the fifth initiation when the person becomes the
resurrected Master.

The next requirement for group initiation is the attaining of the power to work as a miniature Hierarchy and as a
group to exemplify unity in diversity. The second part might be simpler to imagine - to exemplify unity in diversity.
All groups have to work towards attaining unity. But a unity is a unified diversity. This fact of life is exemplified in
all the countries in the world, which essentially make up one group, humanity, and in all the people in these
countries, with their different rays. The seven rays create the greatest diversity in the world both on the level of a
nation and on the human level. All the nations have their rays. They all have different purposes and qualities, so
they create a diversity. The aim is to create the unity, which holds that diversity together, and makes it rich and
meaningful.

The other part of the requirement, the power to work as a miniature Hierarchy, might not seem possible. I have
found that many people in the modern world do not like the word 'hierarchy'. They think it is something un-
democratic, and find it difficult to think of any identity between democracy on the one hand and hierarchy on the
other. The two seem so different. 'Hierarchy' is the idea that someone knows better, is autocratic, authoritarian and
tells how to live, whereas 'democracy' is a notion that we know everything whether that is the case or not.

I have a grandson who does know everything. He says he knows everything. When I ask, "Everything about
everything?" he says, "Yes, everything about everything." But he is only three years old. In a way he does know
everything about his little life - model motorcars, helicopters and planes, and how to take the wheels off the
motorcars and pretend they are something else. It is a very simple, charming view of life, but of course he is wrong.

People on the whole know very little indeed, but still hold onto what they call their right as members of a
democracy to say what they want and to have what they want. They 'know' better than Hierarchy.

When I talk about Hierarchy, I do not just mean something standing above another like rungs on a ladder. I mean
the Spiritual Hierarchy, the kingdom of souls. Is there anyone in this room who sincerely thinks that they know
better than the Masters who make up the Spiritual Hierarchy of this planet, who know more about human
psychology, about the occult meaning and purpose of all the extraordinary processes that Hierarchy goes through,
who can administer a planet or a solar system? Can you do that, Mr Three-Year-Old? Of course, you cannot.

To work as a miniature Hierarchy means recognizing that a group is made up of people at different levels. I know I
said that people in groups of this kind are more or less at the same level. That means none of them are Masters.
Apart from that there is a slight differentiation. Some people are on the threshold of the first initiation. Most are at
some point between the first and the second initiation. Some people might have taken the second initiation, although
among the people doing Transmission Meditation around the world at this time, I have yet to meet one of them.
There are groups that I have never seen so maybe there are groups in which there are second-degree initiates but I
doubt it. Ultimately, the group needs people at all levels, who can support the energies of Hierarchy at their own
level.

It is important for people, especially those living in an avowedly democratic country, to realize that there is really
no discrepancy between a genuine democracy and an element of hierarchy. When the Masters are working more
openly in the world you will see why this is so. The Masters are so wise yet so simple. They know it all. They may
not say it all but They know it all. They also know the problems of humanity. They are benign beings Who seek to
work closely with humanity - tolerantly, without fault and without infringing on human free will. They wish to work
in concert with humanity and to give of Their extraordinary, hard-won knowledge and awareness of that which we
as yet are unaware.

Humanity has to become more tolerant and humble. The group of servers who call themselves Maitreya's people
working for the Reappearance recognize that, if they are to put into practice Rule XI, they have to attain the power
to work as a miniature Hierarchy. Every group is a potentially a miniature Hierarchy, and as a group capable of
exemplifying unity in diversity. Their work is to express that reality, which requires time and effort.

One of the biggest hindrances is the habit of liking and disliking fellow co-workers and so failing to achieve non-
sentimental group relations. It is so much easier to work with people you like in a group, who are similar to
yourself, than to work with people who have completely different ray structures and qualities. The beauty of a group
is that it brings in all, or nearly all, of the ray structures; and that is also a problem. It is a problem for every group
without exception.

There are people who are drawn automatically together, people who like to work together, and people with
completely different points of view. Everyone in a group will find some people that they like to work with, and the
work goes well and easily. There are others with whom it is difficult indeed. That is the reality in most groups.

These likes and dislikes have to go. The ability to exemplify unity in diversity is paramount in Rule XI. It is not just
putting up with so-and-so because, "Well, you know what they are like. They are always the same. In every meeting
they take over. They will not listen. They want their own ideas accepted"; and so on.

The tolerance of diversity is essential in creating unity, which is itself essential in such an occult group. I am talking
about an occult group. It is not just any group like a corporation. In a big corporation those who get on get on, and
those who do not get on get the sack. It is simple. But you cannot sack people in an occult group. You have to
broaden your concept of unity until it includes them, and they have to do likewise.

The fourth, and last, requirement for achieving group initiation is cultivating the potency of occult silence. There is a
common misunderstanding of this basic law. It may mean silence but it may not mean silence at all. What it means
is cultivating the potency of correct thought, knowing what to think and how to think, when to speak and when not
to speak. To speak when it is right to speak is part of creating the potency of occult silence, as I am doing here.

Now, an example of what is not 'occult silence': I would like to teach you how to play cricket. Unfortunately, just
talking about it does not do it. You really have to demonstrate it. Since I am one among many and you know
nothing about cricket, it is difficult to do this. But I could talk about it and show the beauty of it … .

That interruption in my train of thought was an example of what occult silence is not. If I had not diverted my
attention, I could have said something profound and occult, and you would be further amazed and baffled!

Occult silence, then, is not really to do with silence at all, although it may involve silence. The opera The Magic
Flute by Mozart is about the occult silence necessary for initiation. Let me just very briefly break into the occult
silence and describe what happens in The Magic Flute. There is a serious man, the disciple and budding initiate,
Tamino. He is engaged to marry a lovely woman named Pamina. There is also an ordinary, laid back, funny man,
Papageno, who collects birds and sells them to the public. That is how he makes his living, and it gives him money
for drink and whatever he wants to do. He has everything he needs except a wife. He cannot find a wife. As an
initiate, Tamino is sworn to silence and has to keep silent throughout most of the opera. Both Tamino and Papageno
are tested over and over again, and Papageno always fails. They are told to keep silent in a certain situation. They
are given food and wine but they are not to speak. Of course, Papageno immediately says, "This is fantastic." He
gets warned to keep silent, but he just cannot.
Finally, Tamino reaches the point where he has attained through the achievement of occult silence. Pamina had
thought that Tamino did not love her because every time she spoke to him, he never replied, but eventually they are
reunited. There is a great ashram and they go to this occult place to go through the fires of initiation and come out
on the other side. The Magic Flute is about initiation. Mozart was a third-degree initiate and knew about initiation
and put it into his opera in a simplified way. The Magic Flute is a fantastic opera, with wonderful music and a great
story.

Cultivating the potency of occult silence is really cultivating the potency that arises by correct thinking along a
certain line, and not weakening the thought by breaking off as I have just done to talk about cricket and The Magic
Flute. If you learn to cultivate the spiritual tension set up by correct thinking, you talk when it is right to do so, and
do not talk when it is wrong to talk. For instance, you talk when what you have to say enlarges what is known or
needed in a group. And you do not talk when you know what you have to say would be inadequate, false or over the
heads of people involved in the group discussion.

People go to group discussions and do not really think in those terms. They think, "I don't like that idea. I think we
should do so and so." "Oh, no. We have tried this before. It never works." And so on. They do not bring their mind
to bear, formulate the thought, and see if the thought is right to be spoken or not. They just blurt it out, perhaps
simply because it arose, usually from the solar plexus. They create a disturbance, a break in their own consciousness
and that of the group.

Cultivating the potency of occult silence does not mean simple and straightforward silence. It can mean a lot of talk.
If a Master were talking, He would certainly know what to say, when to say it, how much to say, what He could
impart that would be understood, and what He would never say because it would not be understood at that point. It
is a very open, flexible approach but it must be done in such a way as the potency of the idea of the silence or
speech, if it is speech, is maintained.

It is all to do with the creation of spiritual tension. We achieve spiritual tension by right thought and by a certain
relaxed spiritual indifference. It is the same as what Maitreya calls honesty of mind, sincerity of spirit and
detachment. Spiritual indifference is the result of detachment. If I say, "cultivate spiritual indifference." you might
think, "Indifference. That means you have to feel indifferent. That is kind of cold." It is nothing to do with coldness.
It is nothing to do with not being involved. It is nothing to do with not feeling at-one-with. It is being detached
about the result, about what other people are saying, about what other people think and about what you think. It is
being spiritually detached. Spiritual indifference is the same thing as spiritual detachment.

The best way to acquire spiritual indifference is to practise Maitreya's threefold process of honesty of mind,
sincerity of spirit and detachment. The detachment grows as you are more honest in your mind. As you are more
honest in your mind and detached, you are more sincere in spirit. As you are more sincere in spirit, you become
more detached and honest. These three enhance the quality of each other, until what you say comes naturally
without striving. It arises naturally in your mind and heart in line with your recognition of what needs to be said.
You say it and are detached from the result. You say it because it needs to be said, not because you are getting
anything from it.

People are always thanking me for what I do, for example. It is very kind of them but I do not want thanks for what
I do. I do it because I have been asked to do it and because I am involved in it. It is the serving of the Plan. But
people thank me for it and this always puts me in a somewhat difficult position. I do not want to offend the person
and say, "No, I do not want your thanks. Thanks very much, but no thanks." It would feel insulting and arrogant.

Spiritual detachment does not need thanks. If you are in this work, you should not expect anyone to clap you on the
back and say, "Well done," because you do it from the soul. It is the soul's work you are doing.

Otherwise you are doing it in competition and if you are in competition, you want applause. You want someone to
pat you on the back and say, "Well done, well done. Thank you". When you are not in competition, you are doing it
because it is the soul's work. You may not do it well, but it is the best you can do. That is all you can do, your best.
To thank you for doing that does not apply because you are not doing it for thanks or to prove anything. You are not
doing it even to achieve anything. You are doing it just because it has to be done, because it is there. It is the
mountain. You climb it because it is there to be climbed. That kind of detachment is absolutely necessary for this
work and the achieving of group initiation.

You can see how difficult group initiation is to achieve. It needs an understanding of that ability to walk on a
tightrope, asking nothing from other people, not needing other people's pats on the back, acclaim or thanks or
applause. Everyone has to do the work without that.

The disciple has to think of him or herself as being a part of a group, impersonally, without personal likes and
dislikes. The group as a whole, warts and all, is a group of which you are a part. To use the energies of Aquarius,
you have to think like that because these energies work only through groups, not through individuals. Everyone
today is full of their individuality, which is the great achievement of the Piscean experience. But look where it has
got us. Think of the world, the wars, the hunger and all of that. That is where our individuality of today has placed
us because we misuse it. Think instead in terms of a group, of unity in diversity. This is the important thing - a
group to exemplify unity in diversity, as a whole, so that your individuality can be put at the service of the group.

Harmlessness

On the subject of group initiation it is also necessary to think deeply about the need for harmlessness in every
situation including group relations. This, if properly, fully achieved, would be the quickest way to become a senior
member of the Spiritual Hierarchy on planet Earth. To see everything in terms of harmlessness is automatically to
conform to the four requirements of Rule 11; and if we were absolutely, perfectly harmless in every way, in
thought, word and deed, from moment to moment, we would be Masters. When you meet the Masters, you will be
amazed at how simple, how harmless and how delightful They are.

The only way to live is within the Law. (This is exemplified by our Space Brothers.) The great Law of Cause and
Effect, the Law of Karma, is the simplest, most reactive Law that exists. Whatever we do - every thought, every
action - creates a cause. The effects stemming from these causes make our lives. It is in our own hands. Therefore
the need for harmlessness is obvious, is it not?

Everyone has some good and some bad karma. It is just the result of what we do. If we can achieve control of our
thoughts and actions, we control that Law and become absolutely harmless. We have this Law working through us
and with us always. There is no way you can put it aside and say, "Well, for a time I will not be harmless. I will be
as harmful as I must be, being me, at my present stage, which is not very evolved. So I must not ask too much of
myself. I will be harmful." We all do this, do we not? We are as good as we can be (not quite), but also as harmful
as we can be, knowing that we are being harmful. Despite knowing the Law, we cannot help ourselves. We do not
have the self-control, which is largely control of the astral/emotional body. If we had full control of the emotional
body, we would be much less harmful than we are. But unfortunately 95 per cent of humanity are polarized on the
astral plane, so it is inevitable that astral damage is caused. It all stems from the astral plane.

All the pain and suffering of humanity is self-imposed by misuse of their astral/emotional and mental bodies. If we
had control of or physical, emotional and mental bodies, we would become harmless, but we do not. We are all
conditioned otherwise. We are conditioned out of harmlessness into harmfulness. Parents hand on their parents' and
their parents' parents' conditioning to each generation. Every generation absorbs this misuse of ways of living,
thinking, feeling and relating, and hands it on to the next generation.

Initiation too is about control. We can take the first initiation when we control the physical elemental. The physical
elemental makes up our physical body and has its own life. We either control that life or it controls us; likewise with
the emotional body. The emotional elemental creates all the emotional reactions that we take to be necessary and
real, and they distort our lives. The same applies to the mental elemental until control is achieved.

Is harmlessness achievable? Of course it is - what we call evolution of consciousness is the gradual attaining of
harmlessness. As we grow in detachment, we grow in awareness of our spiritual being, our own soul. As we grow in
relation to our soul and gradually become infused with our soul, so we control the physical body, the emotional
body, and then the mental body, and can become initiate. The way has been laid out for us and it is up to us to
accept that challenge.
