Subject : Class H insula on & Flush Valve

Dear Sir,

Further to the consultant comments on the submersible pumps, we would like to confirm that both the
proposed pumps Grundfos SEG & Mul li are with Class F insula on having 155°C as hot spot temperature
capacity. These pumps have no chance to reach 155 deg C especially in residen al and commercial building
applica on. Class H insula on is applicable for special environment like Industries or Oil field applica on.

SEG pumps (submersible pumps) are with Grinder system and SLV pumps (packaged pumps) are with vortex
impeller and both impeller system are applicable and commonly used in building applica on. Providing flush
valve is required for huge STP plants where sediments are set in the bo om. For building applica on these
flush valves are not required.
