Cetamine® G900
Surface-Active Corrosion Inhibitor for Closed Cooling and Hot
Water Systems
Product description
Cetamine® G900 is an all-in-one corrosion inhibitor based on a CLOSED SYSTEMS
blend of a surface active Cetamine® Filming Amine (CFA),
alkalizing amines a polymer and copper inhibitor. Cetamine®
G900 prevents corrosion and scaling in closed cooling and hot
water systems by formation of a protective Cetamine® film on
metal surfaces and adjusting the pH-value to the optimal range.

In semi closed systems or systems with leakages where make-
up water replenishment is necessary an additional maintenance CHEMICAL & PHYSICAL

Cetamine® G900 should be injected by means of an automatic
dosing system and must be dosed neat.

Product monitoring
The CFA content can be determined by the Kurita Cetamine®
Photometric Method, “Cetamine® Test Kit or Cetamine® Monitor.
During routine plant inspections the presence of the protective pH (20 °C)

Cetamine® film on accessible system surfaces can be 1% aqueous
demonstrated with the Kurita Cetamine® Wipe Test.
Material compatibility
All parts of the dosing equipment coming into contact with the
concentrated product must be made of PE, EPDM or PTFE
(Teflon). The concentrated product is not compatible with FPM
(Viton). When applied at recommended dosages, there is no
record of incompatibility with FPM components.
