Julius Caesar was assassinated by a group of senators on
the Ides of March (15 March) of 44 BC during a meeting of the
Senate at the Curia of Pompey of the Theatre of
Pompey in Rome where the senators stabbed Caesar 23 times.
They claimed to be acting over fears that Caesar's
unprecedented concentration of power during his dictatorship
was undermining the Roman Republic. At least 60 to 70
senators were party to the conspiracy, led by Marcus Junius
Brutus, Gaius Cassius Longinus, and Decimus Junius Brutus
Albinus. Despite the death of Caesar, the conspirators were
unable to restore the institutions of the Republic. The
ramifications of the assassination led to his Martyrdom,
the Liberators' civil war and ultimately to the Principate period
of the Roman Empire.

A TALE OF CONFINEMENT
THE JUSTICE FOR THE BIRD, QUOTE BY
DR SANGEETH
It begins with the free bird and how he has freedom to go
wherever, whenever he wants, and can fly in the sky because
there is no one to stop him. The free bird enjoys complete
freedom. But the caged bird has his feet tied and wings clipped;
he is prevented from flying away. Being afraid, the caged bird
continues to sing of freedom. The free bird interacts with nature
and is happy. His heart is fearful and his longings are unfilled, but
he continues to sing. His songs are heard on the far away hills.
We are hearing the song of the bird but not it’s feeling. It is
singing for its freedom not for our happiness.” THE JUSTICE
FOR THE BIRD” said but Dr Sangeeth is one of the best
complements and quote in the world. Free to bird makes the
world green.

African Man denied home, called "TOO
BLACK"
By -WOLE
SOYINKA
In a shocking incident in suburban USA on last Friday, an African man (anonymous due to privacy) was denied
a to-let home because of his color. According to our sources, he stated, "I was asked by the landlady whether I
was light or dark. At that point, I was bewildered by her question. She did not stop here and went further by
enquiring about the tone of darkness of my body. In retaliation, I replied to her that I was a West African and
had a valid passport. I am so ashamed about how not just me, but millions of my color and race ill-treated by
such racist and bigoted people”. Although many institutions nowadays talk about equality and inclusion, none
of the social values are imparted in the society. Such incidents of alienation and hatred are becoming more
common; some recent examples include: derogatory comments made on internationally qualified nurses and a
Finnish Minister being fired for naming Somalis as "Desert Monkeys". It is high time that the social welfare

inspiration and feeling unsure sometimes. The Lover
experiences the highs and lows of love, just like the
sweet songs of birds. The Birdwatcher carefully
observes nature's beauty and how everything is
connected. The poem's rhythm is like the flight of birds, filling us with
joy and connecting us to life's simple yet profound moments. We find
universal themes of love and longing in its words and rediscover our
deep connection to nature. Nissim Ezekiel's talent shines through,

Story about Hidden Kindness (Reference: K.A

Abbas)
‘Sparrows’ is a brilliant short story. Once, the story ‘Sparrows’ was conscripted in the world’s best stories along with The
Lost Child, written by Mulk Raj Anand. Rahim Khan, the protagonist, is a stolid figure, almost devoid of emotions. He
lives alone and the whole village is fearful of him because he brutally beats children and men on slightest pretexts. With
time, he has grown so obtrusive and rough that streaks of humanity have left him. Why is he like that?
During the magnificence of his youth there was no one who could
compete with him in the wrestling and other sports. It's his deepest
desire to join Circus folk. In addition to that, he was also in love Radha,
a Hindu girl. He being very true to his soul wanted to marry her;
however social and religious barriers slyly ended his love affair. Since
then Rahim Khan turned against his society to where he's very much
part of it. At his parents’ behest he marries a Muslim girl. Soon, a
drastic but dark change takes over him. So, he tortures his wife and sons
to such a degree that they all run away. One rainy evening he discovers
a nest of young sparrows, at first, he wants to destroy it, but traces of
hidden kindness stops him and he begins feeling captivated by them.
Being in acute solitude and loneliness, he likes their chirping and often talks to them. One rainy evening, he feels the
privation of the drenching sparrows and then like their savior he repairs the nest while allowing himself being drenched in
the rain for long hours. Next day, Rahim Khan dies of fever. Though Rahim Khan's fear to the villagers was true, but it
was his humanity that saved the lives of sparrows at the cost of his own life. The Sparrows’ is a wonderful story where
nature teaches man to behave himself. What human beings could not demonstrate nature’s tiny creation a happy sparrow-
couple could effortlessly achieve this story is remarkable not just for its narration but also for its characterization of the
infrahuman, yet ultra-humane sparrows. This is a very moving story of the sorrow and disappointment of a supposedly
hard-hearted man. His transformation from utter cruelty to one of endearing love and compassion forms the lifeline of the
narrative.

bond between Hans, a good-hearted water rat, and the wealthy Miller
who lives next door. Inspiring readers to consider the complexity of
charity, exploitation, and the hazy boundaries of true friendship as the
tale develops, Wilde deftly spins a tapestry of emotions. Readers
continue to be moved by the universal themes discussed in "The Devoted
Friend," which serves as a constant reminder of the everlasting value of

By-WILLIAM
SHAKESPEARE
Julius Caesar, the Great Roman Emperor, was killed by his
own men, Brutus and Cassius ,at the age of 55. After his
rise as a “Dictator Perpetuo” (Dictator for an unlimited

assassination as he was growing too “ambitious” and that
the concentration of power would mean oppression of the
Roman people.
The incident took place on 15th March,44 BC, where 60 conspirators gathered and brutally stabbed Caesar 23
times. His last words when he saw Brutus were ,”Et tu, Brutus?” (And you, Brutus?). After his death, Cassius

ON KILLING A TREE BY: - GIEVE

PATEL
In the poem the author describes the cruelty of man in
killing/destroying the tree with irony and conveys a message that trees
are an essential and integral part of our life, and so we should not cut
them. Thus, he sympathizes with the tree and nature in general as it is
being destroyed day-by-day by selfish humans for their usage.
