The given diagram illustrates the process of manufacturing wood for

commercial use. Overall, it is clear that there are six steps in the process of
producing wood, starting at felling trees and ending at shipping products to
stores. In the diagram we can see how trees go through stages of being
harvested, logged, sawed, dried and ultimately becomed a finished product.
In the beginning, mature trees are harvested by felling machines – a
kind of machine like a tractor. These trees are logged and loaded onto trucks
to be transported to the saw mill for the next step. At the saw mill, the logs
are sawed into usable timer planks but now the timber is still wet.
Following on from this, the wet wood is moved to a kiln building. At this
step, the timber is heated so that the moiture evaporates through the kiln
roof. After that, the dried wood is ready to be used for manufacturing
products such as chairs, tables, doors, beds… At last, the finished products
are transported by truck again to supermarkets, stores….where they can be
bought by costumers.
The process of making wood for commercial use is very complicated so
we should preserve wood products carefully for using them longer.
