Product description
The SDLT 160/320 is the second product in SDLT family. Based on
architecture and components of SDLT 110/220 with
45%improvement in capacity and 36% improvement in transfer rate.
The Super Digital Linear Tape (SDLT) 160/320 drive offers
increasedcapacity and performance over digital linear tape (DLT).
The SDLT 160/320 drive is designed to meet the business-critical
demands ofstorage solutions, providing reliability and data integrity
for non-stop computing. Other benefits include backward-read
capability withDLT type IV media and a native backup rate of 57.6 GB
per hour and up to 115.2 GB/hour with compression. Available in
internal,external tabletop, 3U/5U rackmount, or library canister form
factors.

When purchasing an internal SDLT 320 for use in a ProLiant Server ML530
G1/G2 or a ML570 G1/G2 a cooling fan also needs to be ordered. The fan kit
comes with installation instructions to install inside the server.
