ENGAGEMENT OF APPRENTICESHIP TRAINEE AT NRL FOR ONE YEAR ON THE JOB TRAINING UNDER
APPRENTICES ACT, 1961

In pursuance of clause (a) of sub section 1 of Apprenticeship Act,1961 (52 of 1961), which as a part of the National
Policy on Skill Development and Entrepreneurship for creating skilled manpower in India, NRL intends to engage few
Apprentices for training for one year in various trades/disciplines. Details are given below :

SELECTION METHODOLOGY

a) Eligible candidates can apply through Online mode for which Online Application Form will be available from
10.30 hours of 15.02.2023 to 11.59 hours of 03.03.2023 in NRL website www.nrl.co.in > Career>

b) No hard copy of application will be accepted.
c) Candidate must register in following Govt. website to obtain registration number before applying for
Apprenticeship Training. Filling up of Apprenticeship Registration number is mandatory while apply online
application.
 Apprentice Trade as per qualification Govt. portal for enrolment

Back Office Apprentice/ MBA / ITI https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in

d) 50% of total seats will be reserved for Golaghat District candidates.

e) Selection will be made based on percentage of marks in the qualifying examination.

f) Age limit : While minimum age shall be 18 years, there will be no upper age limit for Apprenticeship Training.

g) Candidate will have to upload the following documents while filling online application :
➢ Recent Passport size photograph and scanned signature to be uploaded in the designated field of online
application
➢ Mandatory – Adhar Card
➢ Address proof: Passport/Aadhar Card/ Voter ID – Anyone of these
➢ Age proof: Birth Certificate/ HSLC Certificate
➢ Qualification: Final year Mark sheet & passed certificate for the seat applied
➢ Apprentice Registration Certificate
h) For selection, eligible (seat-cum- merit-cum-reservation basis), candidates will be called for document verification
through their respective E-mail which will be obtained from candidates’ online application.
i) The selected candidates shall be engaged as Apprenticeship Trainee for one year on the job training. After
successfully completion of one year training, necessary certificate will be issued by Training & Development
Department of NRL.

Monthly stipend: i) Degree - Rs. 17,000/- per month.

ii) ITI - Rs. 12,200/- per month.
iii) Canteen allowance - Rs. 1,415/- per month.
