“ ‘THIS WILL dated 1 June 2009 is made by me AVRIL ANNE WATSON of 35 Mayson Street Carlisle CA2 4DU 1, __I revoke all Wills previously made by me 2,__L appoint as my executor and trustee my daughter Lynne Watkins of 1 Coleridge Court Keswick CA12 SQE but if this appointment fails then I appoint my daughter Emma Watson of 84 Bowland Road Heysham ‘Morecambe LA3 2EP in this Will referred to as “my executors”, My executors shall hold the whole of my estate (with the discretion to sell all or any part or parts of it when they think fit) on the following trusts: —— (@__to pay any debts, inheritance tax which is payable as a result of my death and executorship expenses b) to divide the residue equally among those of my daughters Lynne Watkins and Emma Watson who survive me but if either of them dies before me leaving children then those children shall on reaching 21 take equally the share which their mother would otherwise have taken but if this gift fails (©)__to divide the residue equally among those of my niece Ursula Wilkinson of Eden Lacy Cottage Eden Lacy Lazonby Penrith Cumbria and my nephew James Wilkinson of 19 Buckingham Road Headingley Leeds who survive me My executors shall have the following powers:- (@)__to apply for the benefit of any beneficiary who has a contingent interest the whole or any part of the income from any capital to which he is or Qhetdee -may become entitled or for a period not exceeding 21 years after m death to accumulate income (b)__to apply for the benefit of any beneficiary who has a contingent interes the whole or any part of the capital to which he is or may becom: entitled (©)__ to insure any asset in my estate on such terms as they think fit and (®__ to pay premiums out of income or capital (ii)__ to use any insurance money received to restore the asset or if this is not possible to apply it as if it were the proceeds of the sale of the asset (@___without the restrictions imposed by Administration of Estates Act 1925 ection 4 ne G) to appropriate to any beneficiary in satisfaction or partial satisfaction of the gift to him any asset forming part of my residuary estate and not subject to a specific gift (ii) __t0 appropriate as the assets or part of the assets of any trust created by this Will any asset forming part of my residuary estate and not subject to a specific gift (©)__to invest as if they were beneficially entitled and this power includes the right:- @___to invest in unsecured loans (i___to_invest in other non-income producing assets including policies of life assurance(ii)__to invest in property for the occupation or enjoyment of any beneficiary iy) ___10 invest in property jointly with another, (¥)__to hold investments in the name of such person or body as they think fit (vi) _ to make loans which may be interest free or at a rate below the market rate (Q__ to borrow money on such terms as they think fit including the giving of security and to use it for any purpose for which the capital of my estate may be used (g) _inexercising the statutory power of appointing new trustees to appoint a professional person and give him the right to charge for work done by him or his firm (h)__ to sell any asset of my residuary estate at its market value to any one or more of my executors __—_—__—_—— @__ to use the income or capital of my estate for or towards the cost of maintaining or improving any property forming part of my estate or acquired by my executors after my death (i) to do anything incidental to the powers which my executors have whether given by statute or under this Will 1_wish my body to be used for therapeutic purposes including the transplantation of my organs and comeal grafting.
