“Discovering and Exploring Thyself”

Most of us are cognizant that self-awareness is the course of assessing one's
strengths, weaknesses, and emotions. These aspects of one's personality are pivotal
and constitute the foundation for success in all aspects of life, whether societal or
personal. One of the quotes that I embodied, according to Stephen Covey, "In our
personal lives, if we do not develop our self-awareness and become responsible for first
creations, we empower other people and circumstances to shape our lives by default."
However, numerous individuals are still in the process of self-discovery and still
oblivious to the realities of their identity that could be detrimental and potentially lead
someone to despair, turmoil, and chaos. It is the core of why knowing oneself is crucial.
Now, I am in the era of grasping the understanding of what and who I am as a
human being. Every time I look at the crystal clear and massive mirror of our home, that
reflection is an individual who is enormous from his failure, shortcomings, lapses, and
disappointments in life. In the physical context, the attributes of my physical body, I
have a heart-shaped head and fair skin complexion. The color of my hair is black and
straight, and it is thick. I have thin eyebrows, and my eyes are small, bright, and dark. I
have a prominent and pointed nose. My lips are small and red. I have white teeth,
which brings out my captivating and genuine smile. I am 5’4, and I weigh 110.231
pounds. I have broad shoulders and a full-figured body. I have a body type of
mesomorph. Others may perceive that I am underweight; however, as a bona fide
nursing student, I knew that my BMI was normal because I knew how to compute my
body max index. In God's Grace, I am a healthy person.
