GUIDELINES FOR THE TEACHING PRACTICE/SIWES/PRACTICUM EXERCISE

FOR THE 2023–2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

Dear 300 & 400 Level Degree Students,

This information is to give you an update on the upcoming Teaching Practice/SIWES/Practicum

Exercise, scheduled to commence on December 11, 2023. To ensure a smooth process, please
adhere to the following guidelines:

Registration (4th Dec.–11th Dec. 2023):

Process and Procedures:
• Log in to the school portal at www.my.tasce.edu.ng.
• Select a school of your choice after paying the prescribed fee.
• Print the introduction letter provided on the portal.
• Submit the introduction letter to your chosen school for acceptance.
• Return the accepted introduction letter to the Degree office.
• SIWESS Students are to collect letter from any establishment/industry/office and submit
to Quality Assurance Office
• Submit evidence of payment of School fee, the teaching practice fee/Practicum
fee/SIWESS fee, lesson plan/practicum book etc.
• Collect Lesson Plan/ Practicum Book/Log Book
• Print the posting letter provided on the portal/collection of clearance letter from degree
office

Resumption (11th Dec.–15th Dec.):

You are to resume the exercise at the designated school.

Note: Resumption without Posting/Clearance Letter: Under no circumstance should any

student resume Teaching Practice/SIWESS/Practicum without the printing of a posting letter from
the school portal or clearance letter from degree office.
