Hi All,
Is it mandatory to do some settings in configuration (SPRO/IMG settings) to backflush spares material during confirmation of maintenance order apart from setting
backflush indicator in MRP2 view of material master, in work center & also in maintenance order.
In PP module, for some spare material master , in MRP2 view, backflush indicator is set. Now the same materials are also used in maintenance order but maintenance people
do not want to issue the material automatically i.e by backflush process. Rather they want to issue materials manually by t-code MIGO. Once this indicator is set in material
master, even though reservation no generated from maintenance order , material can not be issued manually i.e by t-code MIGO.

Hi,

One way is to ask Maintenance users to remove backflush indicator in Order --> Operaion components so that Goods movements can be posted manually. Is it
ok with them??

Hi Rajib,
No configuration required.
In material master MRP2 view you need to select option 3 - In the material master record, the backflush indicator has the characteristic "Work center decides", the indicator being set in the
work center.
Now for your PP work center tick mark this back flush indicator in Basic Data tab and remove tick mark for this back flush indicator in your Maintenance Work Center
Once your order operation has this maintenance work center your component assigned to it wont hv this back flush indicator.
