    Lab Safety

    Everyone in the lab is responsible for their own safety and the
    safety of others

    Before starting any work in the lab, personal should be familiar with the
    procedures and equipment being used. Lab personal should be aware of the
    chemical hazards before working with them. You should following guidelines are
    recommendations for working safety in a lab.

    Personal safety practices

     Lab coats and gloves should be worn as appropriate in all laboratories.


     Do not mouth pipette.
     Food and drink should not be consumed in the lab.
     Do not store foods and drinks in laboratory refrigerators.
     Wash your hand frequently throughout the day and before leaving the lab.
     Do not wear lab coats, gloves or other personal protective clothing outside
    of lab area.
