ICEBREAKER (10 minutes)

After doing an icebreaker, please explain the value
that you learn from the icebreaker.

Title: Flooded With His Love

Instruction: The cell leader asks the cell members to
share about their experience being flooded with God’s
love.
Value: God longs to flood us with His love and turn
everything into abundance.
SHARING THE APPLICATION OF THE WORD OF GOD
(50-60 minutes)
Goal: all members could do and experience the truth of
the Word of God.
Question: What are the theme and the highlight of last
week's sermon?

FLOOD OF LOVE #1
FLOODED WITH HIS LOVE

I. GOD WANTS TO TURN DROUGHT INTO

ABUNDANCE.
a. Isaiah 41:17 “The poor and needy seek water,
but there is none, Their tongues fail for thirst.
I, the LORD, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will
not forsake them.
 Many people are trying to seek water but they fail
for thirst.
 Isaiah 41:18 I will open rivers in desolate heights,
And fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will
make the wilderness a pool of water, And the dry
land springs of water.
b. Psalm 29:10-11 10 The LORD sat enthroned at the
Flood, And the LORD sits as King forever.

The LORD will give strength to His people;
The LORD will bless His people with peace.

II. IN THIS CHRISTMAS, GOD WANTS TO FLOOD US

WITH HIS LOVE!
a. EVERYONE NEEDS LOVE.
 Genesis 29:30-34 30 Then Jacob also went in to
Rachel, and he also loved Rachel more than Leah.
And he served with Laban still another seven

years. When the LORD saw that
Leah was unloved, He opened her womb; but
Rachel was barren. 32 So Leah conceived and bore
a son, and she called his name Reuben; for she
said, “The LORD has surely looked on my affliction.
Now therefore, my husband will love me.” 33 Then
she conceived again and bore a son, and said,
“Because the LORD has heard that I am unloved,
He has therefore given me this son also.” And she
called his name Simeon. 34 She conceived again
and bore a son, and said, “Now this time my
husband will become attached to me, because I
have borne him three sons.” Therefore his name
was called Levi.
 Some people have their heart empty just like
Leah.
b. John 4:15-18 15 The woman said to Him, “Sir, give
me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come
here to draw.” 16 Jesus said to her, “Go, call your
husband, and come here.” 17 The woman
answered and said, “I have no husband.” Jesus
said to her, “You have well said, ‘I have no
husband,’ 18 for you have had five husbands, and
the one whom you now have is not your husband;
in that you spoke truly.”
 Many people’s love account is almost empty
c. God wants to flood your life with His miraculous
love.
 Open your heart for God because even though
your closest person disappoint you, He will never
do it.
- Genesis 29:35 And she conceived again and bore a
son, and said, “Now I will praise the LORD.”
Therefore she called his name Judah.[a] Then she
stopped bearing.
- Judah means Praise.
- From Judah, the descendants of Leah as born;
great people, great kings and even Jesus Christ.
 Let’s enter December with Judah! With praise!
Let’s end 2022 with gratitude because we love
Him!

III. CHRISTMAS IS THE PROOF OF GOD’S LOVE FOR

ALL PEOPLE IN THE WORLD.
d. 1 John 4:9-10 9 In this the love of God was
manifested toward us, that God has sent His only
begotten Son into the world, that we might live
through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved
God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to
be the propitiation for our sins.
 There is no greater proof then to give the
begotten Son/
e. THE CHALLENGE: LET’S RESPOND GOD’S LOVE
 Romans 10:21 But to Israel he says: “All day long I
have stretched out My hands To a disobedient and
contrary people.”

QUESTION: In your opinion, what is God’s abundance

APPLICATIONS: What commitment will you make to
respond to today’s sermon?

Prophetic Prayer (10 minutes)

The leader of prayer invites gives courage and leads
the members to pray together.
1. Great harvest and 1 million warriors.
2. Unity in Indonesia
3. God’s mighty visitation and unity in Keluarga Allah
Global.
4. The Senior Pastor, Ps. Obaja Tanto Setiawan, and
his family also other servants
5. The struggle of every congregation and the names
are written on Harvest Card.

Question: From the sermon on Sunday, who has

applied the Word of God into practice and
experienced the grace of God during the week?
 Members who have become the doer and have
experienced the grace of God are invited to share
one by one.
- If there is none to share their testimony or none of
them has received any breakthrough though they
have applied it in their daily life, then it’s the
“application sharing” leader and Cell Leader to
testify (This is the importance of a cell leader to
apply the Word of God in their life, to be the
testimony for the cell member)
 Use the testimonies to:
1. To uphold the Word.
2. To show the advantage of becoming the doer of
the Word.
3. To know how the members can become the doer
of the Word.
To encourage all members to become the doer of the
Word that all could receive the grace of God.

PLAN and TARGET (15 minutes)

Cell leader leads this section which aims to evaluate
the cell group and to plan the next week's cell group.
