Fleece Owl Hand Warmer

INSTRUCTIONS: Cut out patterns below. Cut out body pattern carefully on 2 layers of any
color fleece. Cut out beak, eyes and irises on any color felt you prefer. (As fleece does not
unravel these are sewn right side out.) Sew 1/3" from edge around body leaving a 2"
opening. EYES AND BEAK: Using any glue that will adhere to fabric add felt eyes, irises and
beak placing as shown on the pattern. Allow glue to dry. (As certain glues might eventually
loosen in the microwave you can also tack these on by hand sewing them.) Fill with rice to
about 3/4ths full. Sew opening closed. If desired you may use pinking shears around the
edge after completed.
USE: Heat in microwave approximately 15 seconds. Reheat as needed. NEVER heat for
longer than a few seconds.
