THE FROG AND THE SCORPION

"A scorpion asks a frog to carry him over a river. The frog is afraid of being stung, but the scorpion
argues that if it did so, both would sink and the scorpion would drown. The frog then agrees, but midway
across the river the scorpion does indeed sting the frog, drowning them both.”

: I want to be the frog since I am a risk taker kind of person, and easily trust people that surrounds
me even if I know that in the end it’ll cost me still, I would trust everyone who shows good in me.
I am one of a kind that will go through everything just to make sure that everyone is okay even if
I am not, just like the frog he willingly to help the scorpion but in the middle of deep and dark
river the scorpion betrayed him. And also, I will do anything in the best I can so that I wont
disappoint everyone. I am kind a people pleaser too, and much more selfless. But I don’t have
any regrets on the decision I made at the very least I showed people what is the definition of
being genuine, I would rather be hurt by the people I love than to hurt them. I always worked
hard for my family, especially for my sisters. I even stopped my senior high school due to
financial difficulties since my aunt who died last 2021 who is the one who stands as the
breadwinner for my family. But right now, that I learned to stood up for myself just like the frog
that even in his hardest state he still tries to do his best to go across the river and for me I would
go across the river how much the pain, the burden, the hardships and the struggles that I face just
to fulfill my dreams that I can help my family especially financially and for my sister’s education.
