GENERAL LAB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Performs technical laboratory functions including Clinical chemistry, Hematology,

Urinalysis & Microscopy, Immunology/serology and basic blood banking.
 Report test results following clinic protocols alerting physician and or nurses about
abnormal results.
 Ensure quality control in collecting specimens, ensure appropriate sampling and maintain
accurate record keeping.
 Maintains laboratory equipment and supplies.
 Sets up, maintains, calibrates, cleans, and tests accuracy of medical laboratory equipment
following quality assurance guidelines.
 Comply with all laboratory policies and relevant accrediting regulations related to safety,
cleanliness, infection control and quality laboratory services.
 Perform all other duties as assigned.
