Introduction
The Sindhi language is estimated to be over 2400 years old, making it one of the world's oldest languages with a
documented history. It has a rich linguistic and cultural heritage that has involved over the centuries. This
language has beautiful poetry, spiritual teachings, unique script with special characters and stories that tell us
about the values and belief of Sindhi culture.Sindhi language is called the real language of Sindh, which is
derived from Arabic and Sanskrit script. A committee was constituted in1853 by Henry Bartle which gave the
modification to Sindhi alphabets.

In the 14th century, Sindhi language and literature were in a flourishing state.

Problem Statement
In recent times, the Sindhi people and their way of life have been undergoing significant changes. These change
by modernization, urbanization and shifts in lifestyle are affecting the core elements of Sindhi culture, ecosystem
and Sindhi identity. Sindhi language is facing a challenge in adapting to the modern world, as it lacks sufficient
words to express new technology or concepts. This creates a communication gap within the Sindhi community,
as many people resort to using Sindhi-English code-switching in their speech and writing, which weakens their
cultural identity.
Objectives
Revival of words to preserving language.

Collaborate with linguistic experts and native speakers to create new words or adapt existing ones for
modern and new technologies.

Provide practical guideline to Sindhi community for use of renewal words.

The project could also collaborate with other organizations or institutes that support the preservation and
promotion of the Sindhi language and culture.
