GREETING

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the communion of the Holy
Spirit be with all of you.

We are gathered here today in the presence of God, family, and friends to bear witness to
the union of David and Alondra Elizabeth in holy matrimony.

We have come to share their joy and to ask God to bless them. Marriage is a gift from
God and sealed by a sacred covenant. The union of husband and wife in body, soul, and
mind is the intention of God for their mutual joy, as well as the support and care that they
give one another during their lives together. Therefore, marriage should not be taken
lightly, but reverently and according to the purpose with which it was established by God.

Let us now pray.

SALUDO

La gracia de nuestro Jesucristo, el amor de Dios y la comunión del Espíritu Santo esté
con ustedes.

Nos hemos reunido en la presencia de Dios, familia, y amigos para ser testigos de la
unión de Alondra Elizabeth y David.

Hemos venido a compartir su gozo y a pedir que Dios los bendiga. El matrimonio es un
regalo de Dios, sellado por un compromiso sagrado. La unión del esposo y la esposa en
cuerpo, alma y mente es la intención de Dios para su mutuo gozo, así como la ayuda y el
cuidado que se dan uno al otro durante sus vidas juntos. Por lo tanto, el matrimonio no
debe ser tomado con ligereza, sino reverente y de acuerdo con el propósito con que fue
establecido por Dios.

OPENING PRAYER

Heavenly Father, we gather to celebrate your gift of love, and we are grateful you created
love to unite us. We rejoice that these two people have chosen to commit themselves to a
life of loving faithfulness to one another. We praise you, Lord, for the ways you have
touched our lives with loving relationships and we give thanks for your powerful Word
that guides us to the light. Allow that the power of the Holy Spirit sustains them in eternal
faithfulness. Allow that the presence of Christ fills our hearts with a new joy, through
Jesus Christ our Saviour we ask it. Amen.

ORACION INICIAL

Dios, nos reunimos para celebrar tu don de amor, y estamos agradecidos de que hayas creado
el amor para unirnos. Nos regocijamos de que estas dos personas hayan elegido
comprometerse a una vida de fidelidad amorosa el uno al otro. Te alabamos, Señor, por las
formas en que has tocado nuestras vidas con relaciones amorosas y damos gracias por tu
poderosa Palabra que nos guía a la luz. Permite que el poder del Espíritu Santo los sostenga en
fidelidad eterna. Permitan que la presencia de Cristo llene nuestros corazones de una nueva
alegría, a través de Jesucristo nuestro Salvador lo pedimos. Amén.

STATEMENT OF INTENTION

Pastor: Alondra and David, before God and these witnesses, do you reaffirm your desire
to enter into this covenant of marriage and share the joys and sorrows of this new
relationship and all that the future brings you?

Alondra & David: Yes

PRAYER

God hear our prayers of support for the union of Alondra and David. Bless us as we
offer our prayers of love and support to this marriage. Bless them in the new
commitment which they make to each other. Allow that this couple can always testify
about true love that they profess today and of which we are witnesses. May their love
continue to grow and be an honest reflection of your love for us. Through Christ Jesus.
Amen.

and adversity, renouncing all others and saving yourself just for her from this day

Exchange Of Rings
What do you have to offer as a sign of the covenant that you have just made?
¿Qué ofrecen como señal del pacto que acaban de hacer?

Un pequeño anillo de metal precioso era considerado por los antiguos como un emblema
de eternidad ya que está hecho de tal forma que no tiene principio ni fin. El metal
precioso del cual está hecho este anillo se dice que es de tal modo incorruptible que ni el
tiempo ni el uso pueden dañarlo. Permitan que esta unión que está sellada por este
emblema, sea incorruptible en su pureza y tan duradera como el tiempo mismo.

Pastor:
A small ring of precious metal was considered by the ancients as an emblem of eternity
since it is made in such a way that has no beginning and no end. The precious metal
which this ring is made of is said to be imperishable so that time and use cannot damage
it. Let this marriage be sealed by this emblem and be enduring in its purity and as
durable as time.

Lighting of the Candle

GENESIS 2:24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife,
and they shall become one flesh.

GÉNESIS 2:24 (NVI) Por eso el hombre deja a su padre y a su madre, y se une a su mujer, y los
dos se funden en un solo ser. El encendido de la vela simboliza lo que Génesis 2:24 nos dice. La
vela representa la luz que nos da valor y tranquilidad en la oscuridad, el calor y la seguridad en
el frío; y fuerza y alegría en nuestros cuerpos, mentes y espíritus.

John tells us in 1:4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines
in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. God is our light, and marriage was created
by him for the purpose of Glorifying Him, as you light this candle remember that you both are to
submit yourselves to the light as you become one person in the eyes of God. May His Word live
within your household daily, and may it light your lives together.

Juan 1:4-5 En él estaba la vida, y la vida era la luz de la humanidad. Esta luz resplandece en las
tinieblas, y las tinieblas no han podido extinguirla. Dios es nuestra luz, y el matrimonio fue
creado por Él con el propósito de glorificar, al encender esta vela, recuerden que ambos deben

Pastor: David y Alondra con la bendición de Dios y con la autoridad que tengo como ministra
del Evangelio de Jesucristo y según del poder que me dio el estado de Alabama, ustedes son
ahora esposo y esposa. Aquellos a quien Dios ha unido no los separe de otro ser humano.

David and Alondra with the blessing of God and the authority I have as Minister of the
Gospel of Jesus Christ and according to power given to me by the State of Alabama, you
are now husband and wife. Those whom God has united let no man put asunder.

MARRIAGE BLESSING
Pastor: May the grace of Christ remain with you, the love of God keep you and the Holy
Spirit help you to grow in Holy love, May you support each other, and remain faithful
until death do you apart.
