SUBJECT Basic Guidelines to be followed for avoiding EW & SOT Cancellation/Modification

Kind Attn: Dealer Principal / Sales Head/ Service Head,

Thank you very much for the continuous support & all efforts in implementing new Service
initiative like EW, SOT, SOT Super etc.

EW, SOT & SOT Super program launched by HMI are successfully running which are
benefiting both our Customers & Dealer Partner’s.

These kind of programs not only provide opportunity for our Dealer Partner’s to generate
more revenue by selling such schemes at Dealership but also ensures long term customer
retention & future service business at our workshops.

Off late we have been receiving many queries/requests from Dealer Partner’s regarding
cancellation/modification of scheme & quantum of such requests is increasing month on
month.

Please note cancellation/modification of EW/SOT/SOT Super scheme is not only


cumbersome after generation of invoice/IRN but can also have serious taxation
implications on HMI & Dealers.

In view of the same you are requested to exercise outmost care & follow the below
mentioned SOP while selling/punching EW/SOT/SOT super schemes.
- Dealership to explain EW/SOT/SOT super scheme, coverage details, features & price
along with tax in detail to the Customer.
- Take Customer consent along with signature for the scheme selected by the
Customer.
- Collect applicable amount from the customer.
- Cross check below mentioned details while punching EW/SOT/SOT super scheme in
NDMS#.
1. VIN of vehicle
2. Scheme selected by Customer
3. Price collected from Customer

4. Details in EW Screen like Employee Name, place of supply.


- In case of Sale to GST registered customer (B2B) ,to capture his GST details correctly
and generate IRN (IRN generation should be on same day-Beyond 03 days IRN can’t
be generated)

# It is strongly recommended to punch EW/SOT/Super scheme in NDMS only after


collecting/realization of applicable payment from the Customer.

Note: - EW/SOT/SOT Super scheme once punched in NDMS can’t be cancelled/modified/


reversed.

The above may please be brought to the notice of all the concerned at your Dealership.
