Inspection Procedure

Overview
Formal inspections of both/all YOUR ORGANIZATION’s locations (option to list locations here) will occur
monthly (however often they will occur) and will cover the building, tools, equipment, vehicles, emergency
procedures and work practices (list all things to be inspected).

Procedure
Monthly Office Inspections
1. The Leadership Team (replace with whoever is responsible) is responsible for ensuring formal
inspections of both/all locations occur monthly.

2. The Occupational Health & Safety Committee (OH&S) will conduct monthly inspections in
collaboration with all YOUR ORGANIZATION associates. The Inspection Checklist (replace with the
name of your inspection tool) will be used to guide the inspection.

3. In the event that a serious hazard has been identified, the appropriate supervisor shall be notified. All
other concerns will be dealt with by the OH&S Committee. (this section can be modified to reflect your
organization’s process)
