Work Preparation

1. Safety
 Switch off the power supply prior to any maintenance and put UNDER MAINTENANCE
Board on the panel, also switch off the CB of respective crane.
 Visually check operation of thrusters during hoist movement of EOT crane.
2. Tools and Equipments Required
(a) Paint Brush (b) Torch (c) Spanners (d) Dust clothes (e) Sand papers (f) Safety Helmet
(g) WD-40 (h) Grease. (i) Lubrication Oil

NOTE:- Use scissor lift to access bridge area of crane to check for any fault( WS, PWL).

Clean dirt accumulation on reflectors.
Check contactor & MCB for sparking, change
if required.
Check working of all push buttons in pendant.

7 Power Check all underbridge and platform lights are

supply working,
Check all buzzer/alarm system is working.
Check for any damage of stationary cable,
moving connection cable and pendant cable.
Check UP/Down movement of hoist.
8 Operation Check cross movement of hoist.
Check longitudinal movement of the crane.
9 Greasing Greasing of wire ropes, if required.
Check rope wire for any broken stand.
Check hook and hook safety latch for any
crack or damage.
10 Miscellaneou Air cleaning of crane bridge platform, cabin
s etc.
Check the complete operation of crane.
