    Wolverine Industries has introduced a new large-scale 5-axis machining center capable of machining parts up to 41 meters long, 4.1 meters wide and 1.9 meters high. This will expand Wolverine's existing large-scale manufacturing capabilities, which include multiple extrusion presses for 6000 series alloys up to 1800 metric tons and 2500 metric tons, as well as a friction stir welding panel welder that can handle panels up to 16.7 meters long and 4.4 meters wide. The new machining center is a Fooke Endura model from 1997 that was retrofitted in 2020 with a Fanuc 16i control system and can machine a wide variety of metals.
