3Three Days in Nyungwe National Park

Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and Transfer to Nyungwe National

This morning, pick up from Kigali, transfer to the southern province in Nyungwe forest, via
Huye we will have the opportunity of exploring the National Museum in Huye and king
palace at Nyanza. then after lunch, we shall continue to Nyungwe forest national park have
a nature walk to Gisakura tea plantation and spend your night and dinner at chosen
accommodation.

Day 2: Water Falls & Colobus Monkeys

6:30 AM: wake up
7:00 AM: Breakfast
8:00 AM: start the hike to the waterfall. This hike takes approximately three hours.
Experience stunning panoramic views as you make your way through the forest.
12:00 PM: enjoy your packed lunch by the waterfall.
1:00 PM: begin the colobus monkey tracking experience at Nyungwe National Park this
hiking experience usually takes about 3-4 hours, where you may have a chance to spot
monkeys playing in the forest.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy walkway and Transfer Back to Kigali
At 06:00am you will get your packed breakfast and drive to the park headquarter for
chimpanzee trekking briefing and formalities and then to the evergreen forest for a great
experience that start at 07:00am.

Afternoon transfer to the park headquarter for canopy walk briefing. your guided canopy
walk will start at 03:00pm. You will then transfer back to Kigali.
