    1. Fit the sealing plugs 2124 in the coolant ducts on the underside of the cylinder head.

    2. Fit tools 6685 and 3844.


    Immerse the cylinder head in water.
    Water temperature: 70 °C (158 °F)

    3. Set the reducing to a pressure of 50 kPa (7 psi).


    Keep that pressure for 1 minute.
    Air pressure: 50 kPa (7 psi), 1 minute

    4. Raise the pressure to 150 kPa (22 psi). Close the valve. Check after a further two minutes, if the pressure drops or if
    air bubbles are coming out of the water.
    Air pressure: 150 kPa (22 psi), 1 to 2 minutes
