Confirmed turbocharger has failed allowing oil to escape into exhaust side. Filled engine up with oil and tried restarting but vehicle just clicks. Checked to see if engine is seized and found crankshaft cannot be turned. Confirmed engine is seized due to lack of oil. Recommend replacement of engine, turbocharger, and intercooler. Customer approved repair. Disassembled all components necessary to facilitate cab removal. Running boards customer had installed will not be able to be put back on due to running board mounts and cab all damaged. Removed engine from vehicle and disassembled all components off old engine and talled onto new engine except egr components, installed block off plates instead to prevent overheating failure from egr cooler. nstalled new injectors into new engine. Found clutch, flywheel and pressure plate all worn out. Also found that adapter plate, all bolts and crankshaft adapter to flywheel cannot be removed from seized engine unless engine is completely disassembled to unseize. Then engine would need be reassembled for core. Ordered adapter plate, bolts and ‘ankshaft to flywheel adapter. Installed all compotients ordered onto new engine. Installed new flywheel, clutch. pressure plate and throw out bearing. Installed new engine oil cooler due to engine failure and contamination from bearing material. Installed new turbocharger onto engine, Reinstalled engine into frame. Removed and replaced intercooler due to intercooler being full of oil. Replaced fuel filters, air filter, and cleaned all intercooler pipes of oil to prevent’ runaway condition from occurring. Dropped cab back onto frame and reinstalled all components removed for repair. Filled engine with oil, filled cooling system, and also filled power steering system. Primed fuel system and started vehicle. Engine is running good. Bled cooling system d power steering system. Checked oil level after vehicle was running and oil level is good. Reset oil change reminder and fuel system reminders. ABS and traction control lights are on due to left rear wheel speed sensor codes. Suspect codes are due to damaged chassis ha=ness. Damaged chassis harness is cause of no taillights as well.
