Dear John,

My name’s Alex, I’m thirteen. It’s me in the picture. I live in London, it’s the
capital city of England. I go to middle school and I have very busy days almost
all the time.
During weekdays, I always wake up at 6:30. I directly wash my face and go
downstairs to have my breakfast. I finish eating at quarter to seven and I brush
my teeth, get dressed and put on my shoes. I leave the house at 7:30. I don’t
prepare my school bag in the morning, I think it’s better to do it at night.
I generally start school at 8 and I take many subjects a day, my favourite is P.E. I
love practicing all sports, but my favourite is tennis. We have a nice tennis court
at school so I can practice as much as I want. I generally play tennis four times a
week at school. It’s a sport that you play against one player, you need a racket and a small ball. The rule says
that you can’t touch the ball with your hand, you must smash it with the racket and of course it mustn’t fall on
the ground. You need tennis shoes too.
I hope to become a professional tennis player when I get older. Xoxo, Alex
