I am truly honored to stand before you today as we gather to kick off the Reading
Month Celebration of 2023. It is a joyous occasion that allows us to embrace the
magic and power of books, to explore uncharted worlds, and to be inspired by the
limitless knowledge and creativity that literature brings into our lives.

This month is a special time when we come together to celebrate our shared love for
reading and to rekindle the flames of curiosity, imagination, and empathy that burn
