The Pros and Cons of Technology in
Modern Society

INTRODUCTION
Hook: Have you ever considered how technology has altered our
lives in recent years? Technology, from cell phones to
social media, has altered the way we live, work, and
communicate. Some applaud technology for making our
lives easier and more connected, while others are
concerned about its harmful impact on our mental health,
relationships, and overall well-being. So, what are the
advantages and disadvantages of technology in modern
life?

Description: Technology has become an integral part of modern


society, and its impact is evident in almost every aspect of
our daily lives. From how we communicate to how we
work, technology has transformed how we interact with
the world around us. While there are many benefits of
technology, such as increased efficiency and
convenience, there are also downsides that cannot be
ignored.

Thesis statement: The integration of technology in modern society has


brought significant benefits such as increased efficiency,
convenience, and connectivity, but its negative impact on
mental health, relationships, and privacy cannot be
ignored, and we must be aware of its potential downsides
and use it responsibly.
