Janine's 18th Birthday Party. Of course, I would like to thank
everyone for gracing this very momentous occasion because
as they say, you only get to be 18 once.
In the Philippines, a debut is not only a social event that a girl
looks forward to celebrating all of her teenage life. Rather it is a
girl’s symbolic transition from being a naïve lass to a woman. It
has been said that this traditional practice has been around for
years and has been meant to be celebrated to prepare women
for the world of womanhood.
This afternoon, we've come together to watch a young girl grow
into a stunning woman. We are quite fortunate to have been
selected to attend and participate in this significant event in the
debutant's life. You see her mature. Her smile is visible. You
watch her chuckle. You always see her. And you are going to
see her as an adult now. a lady with integrity, ambition, and a
decent heart.
The turning of eighteen almost signifies the transition from
youth to young adulthood, with all of its attendant obligations.

“MEMENG” MACANANG and Mrs. ROWENA S. MACANANG's
only child.
She had an incredibly loving and kind upbringing. Everyone
adores her for her inner and outer attractiveness. She has an
angelic voice. Her smile knows no bounds. Her heart has no
fear. Her thoughts are prepared to try. For the sake of
friendship and fun, she's up for any adventure. More
sophisticated than reserved, daring than carefree, captivating
