In Italia ci sono molte grandi città. Alcune sono molto famose per la loro
storia e per la loro arte come Roma, Venezia e Firenze. Altre città sono più
industriali e sono meno conosciute dai turisti, come Torino o Genova.

In Italy there are many large cities. Some are very famous for their history
and for their art, like Rome, Venice, and Florence. Other cities are more
industrial and are less known by tourists, like Turin or Genoa.

In tutte le città italiane ci sono molte piazze. La piazza è il centro della vita degli
italiani. Nelle piazze italiane ci sono molti ristoranti, caffè e negozi.
Generalmente c’è una chiesa e c’è anche un palazzo del Comune.

In all Italian cities there are many piazze. The piazza is the center of life of
the Italians. In the Italian piazze there are many restaurants, cafés, and
stores. In general there is a church and also a city hall.

Alcune piazze sono antiche e hanno importanti monumenti storici ed artistici.

Altre piazze sono moderne e assomigliano a parcheggi.

Some piazze are old and have imporant historical and artistic
monuments. Other piazze are modern and resemble parking lots.

Molte piazze dei centri storici sono zone pedonali, altre piazze sono
congestionate dal traffico.

Many of the piazze of historical centers are pedestrian areas, and other piazze
are packed with traffic.

Se sei seduto in un caffè in una piazza italiana, sei seduto in un teatro: guarda la
