M/s Destined Engineering Works Quotation No QT16/118 dated 17-11-2016. 1. Approval is hereby accorded for repair/maintenance work of steering system onboard PMSS BARKAT against a cost of Rs.48,000/- (Rupees Forty Eight Thousand Only) vide your quotation at Reference A. a Scope of work is appended below: e. Troubleshooting of rudder indicator synchro motor and system f. _ Repair/replacement and service of rudder indicator synchro motor and system. g. Complete wiring alongwith lugs, connector etc. h. Complete load trial. 3. Acceptance criteria includes: e. Successful trials as per OEM manual, f. Satisfactory acceptance by CO PMSS BARKAT. g. Quality of work is to be authenticated by CO PMSS BARKAT for final acceptance. fh. Work completion report to be forwarded stating entire magnitude of work undertaken. 4. Following are to be complied: a The work is to be completed under the supervision of MEO PMSS BARKAT to ensure the quality and safety of work and shall be at liberty to inspect the work while in progress and upon completion as the case may. be under its own system of quality assurance. b. The parts/components/material used for repair/ maintenance work of steering system must be of good quality. ©. Defective items/parts, if any, are to be returned to the concerned unit for survey.5. d. Work is to be completed within 15 working days from the date of authorization for commencement of work by CO PMSS BARKAT and test/trials to be completed within the due date. e. The repair work will be under warranty of a period of 01 year from the date of Work Completion Certificate issued by the end user. f. The firm is to submit a performance bond to D (P & CC) equivalent to the value of 05% of the total value of work order, which will be returned to the firm after completion of one year warranty period. g. Bills along with Work Completion Certificate duly signed by MEO PMSS BARKAT and countersigned by CO PMSS BARKAT are to be forwarded for release of payment. h. Contractor is directed to start the work onboard/workshop 0900 hrs daily till completion of job. HQ PMSA reserves the right to cancel this Work Order at firm's risk, if the work is not completed within due time as per Para 4(d) above. In this case, liquidated damages charges @ 1% per day of total value of the work order up to max of 10% of total value of work order may be clai imed from the firm. The firm may submit reason to HQ PMSA for non-completion of work well before the completion date to avoid liquidated damage charges. 6. The firm will render certificate at Annex A to the Work Order on its own letterhead having seal and endorsement of head of the firm for accepting the terms and conditions of this Work Order.
