homeless. I arrived at the church at 7:00 AM and helped set up the tables and chairs where
the food would be distributed. There were about 20 tables set up, each with a variety of food
items, such as milk, eggs, bread, cereal, canned goods, and frozen vegetables.
After the tables were set up, we prayed and then began distributing the food. There

In addition to the food distribution, there were also other services available at the
church. There was a tent where people could get their blood pressure checked or talk to a
doctor. There was also a tent where people could pray for guidance or healing.
Another service offered at the church was a clothing giveaway. People could come
and pick out some free clothes. There was also a book giveaway, where people could take as
experience to be able to help those in need. I was also impressed by the many services that

I was particularly struck by one woman who came to the food distribution. She was a
single mother with two young children. She told me that she had lost her job and her home a
few months ago. She was struggling to make ends meet and was worried about how she was
going to feed her children. I was able to help her get some food and other supplies. She was
so grateful for my help. She told me that I had made a real difference in her life.
