REFLECTION ON PRAISE PROGRAM

The Department of Education's (DepEd) PRAISE Program (Performance


Recognition and Incentive Award for Service Excellence), I am struck by the
positive impact it has on the teaching profession and the broader educational
landscape in the Philippines. The PRAISE Program serves as a commendable
initiative to recognize and reward the dedication and excellence demonstrated
by educators in their service to the community.

One of the noteworthy aspects of the PRAISE Program is its emphasis on


meritocracy. By tying recognition and incentives to performance and
excellence, the program creates a motivational framework for educators to
continually strive for improvement. This approach not only acknowledges the
hard work of teachers but also encourages a culture of continuous professional
development.
