BAKE SOME DELICIOUS

HOMEMADE BUTTER
COOKIES
INGREDIENTS

1 egg 325g of flour

2 tablespoons of
vanilla essence 150g of butter

150g of sugar
1 pinch of salt

PREPARATION

STEPS:

First, you have to put the butter at room

temperature in a bowl with the sugar and
then, start mixing all with a whisk or a fork

When we got an homogeneous mass, we add the egg and the 2

tablespoons of vanilla essence. We mix all the ingredients again until there
is a homogeneous mass again.

Add the flour and a pinch of salt. Although it is a sweet preparation, the salt will
enhance the flavor and leave some fluffier homemade butter cookies. Mix and integrate
all the ingredients by hand. We will have a rather solid ball of dough, although it will stick
a little in the hands, despite getting some mass in your hands you could eat it if you want

Cover the dough and put it in the fridge. The good thing about this recipe
is that it is not necessary to knead anything. We leave it in the fridge for
one to two hours. The idea is that the dough cools down and compacts, but
not too much or it will be very difficult to shape into a biscuit later.

After time, we put the dough on the counter and with a roller, or a
glass bottle if you don't have a roller, we stretch it on the same
counter. It should be about a finger thick. Once this is done, we
make the cookies with the molds we have chosen. Or with a crystal
glass. They will be just as good.

When there is no more space left in the dough to make

more cookies, as simple as collecting it all and stretching
it again with the rolling pin or the glass bottle and
starting again.

Finally, when all the homemade butter cookies are done, we

place them on baking paper, on top of the same baking sheet,
with a small separation between them because they will grow
a little, and we put them in the oven previously heated to
180ºC, up and down. Put them in a slot closer to the
resistance at the top of the oven, than at the bottom. And
keep an eye on them because in 10 minutes or less they will be
cooked and it is very easy for them to burn.
