CLEANING COUPLING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Remove the push pull cap 2. Attach the coupling to the filter

3. Attach a bottle or squeeze pouch filled with 4. Squeeze the bottle or pouch vigorously to
CLEAN water to the other side of the coupling. backwash the filter. Repeat as necessary until
the filter is clean.

5. Unscrew the coupling and re-attach the

push pull cap.

We recommend discarding the first quart

of water before consuming incase you
backwashed the filter with contaminated
water.
