RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

This chapter describes the method of research design, the respondents of the study,

instrument used, data collection procedures, and statistical treatment of data.

Research Design

The present study followed the quantitative method and used a descriptive research

design to determine the impact of an electronic inventory system on operational efficiency.

This method describes and interprets concerns regarding the existing conditions, ongoing

processes, perceived effects, and developing trends. Thus, the descriptive quantitative

research design which is a quantitative research method attempts to collect quantifiable

information for statistical analysis of the population sample (QuestionPro, n.d.).
