Hezekiah praises God.

2 Chronicles 30:1-27

King Hezekiah knew it had been a long, long time since God’s people
had come to the Temple to worship God. One day King Hezekiah sent
an important letter to all God’s people. The king’s helpers took the
letter to all the cities where God’s people lived. “Come to the beautiful
Temple,” the letter said.
The people were so excited! Everyone wanted to go to the Temple. As
the people came, King Hezekiah said, “Come, let us worship the Lord
God together.” The people sang happy songs about God. The leaders
read God’s words from the big scrolls. And the people prayed to God.
God’s people stayed at the Temple for seven days. When it was time
to go home, they said to King Hezekiah, “We do not want to go home
yet.” So they stayed seven more days. Everyone had a happy time
singing and praying to God.
